General information

The Wellness Lodge 2 is an elegant chalet with the look of a luxurious hotel room. The open layout and large windows create a spacious effect. The detached chalet is suitable for 2 persons. In the cozy living room you will find a sitting area, television and indoor fireplace. The open kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, 4-burner cooker, microwave, kettle and a Nespresso Professional Machine (capsules for this are sold exclusively at the reception / mini market). In the sleeping area is a double box spring. The Wellness Lodge 2 has a luxurious bathroom with a shower, washbasin and a private sauna. From the living room you step through the doors onto the terrace with garden furniture. There's a hottub or Dutchtub. You can park one car at the chalet and there is free Wi-Fi available.

The booked accommodation has a comfort package with extras! This means that the beds are made on arrival, a set of towels and tea towels, a bathroom set and a coffee and tea pack are available. Please note, It is not possible to place a baby bed / camp bed in this accommodation.

The park enjoys a beautiful location directly opposite the Hoge Veluwe National Park, highly appreciated by guests for hiking and cycling. The grounds are green and well-maintained with several playgrounds, indoor and outdoor pools, a restaurant, and bike rental. However, many guests report serious shortcomings in cleanliness: cobwebs, dust, dirty bathrooms, mould, and sometimes even pests. Additionally, numerous visitors complain about constant traffic noise from the nearby motorway and N311, which disrupts the peace and nature experience. Staff receive mixed reviews—some friendly and helpful, others disinterested or hard to reach.

    We rented a Forest Lounge here for a few days. The accommodation was clean and fully equipped. We had a unit without air conditioning, but I don’t think you can really get by without it when temperatures rise.

    The location of the Forest Lounges is also great; the “backyard” borders a small island with a playground and a waterfall. That last … part was especially nice, because the sound of the waterfall masked the noise from traffic on the main road/highway. You can actually hear that traffic quite clearly in many parts of the park.

    The ladies at the front desk were great; they even called to let us know that our accommodation was available earlier than 4:00 p.m. The front desk also has a small shop for any forgotten groceries, and you can pick up fresh pastries there in the morning. There’s also bike rental.

    I can’t comment on the swimming pools or other facilities, as we didn’t use them during our visit.

    The park’s location is also ideal—the entrance to De Hoge Veluwe National Park is literally right across the street.

    Hebben hier een aantal dagen een Forest Lounge gehuurd. Accommodatie was schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij hadden een unit zonder airco, maar ik denk dat je hier met hogere temperaturen echt niet zonder airco kan.

    Ligging van de Forest Lounges is ook top, de 'achtertuin' grenst aan een soort eilandje met speeltuintje en een waterval. Vooral dat laatste was prettig, want het geluid van de waterval maskeerde het geluid van het verkeer van de grote weg/snelweg. Dit is op veel plekken op het park wel goed hoorbaar.

    Dames achter de receptie waren top, we werden zelfs gebeld dat onze accommodatie eerder beschikbaar was dan 16:00 uur. Verder heeft de receptie een kleine shop voor de vergeten boodschappen en kun je er sochtends verse broodjes halen. Ook is er fietsverhuur.

    Over de zwembaden en overige faciliteiten kan ik niks zeggen, daar hebben wij tijdens ons bezoek geen gebruik van gemaakt.

    Ligging van het park is ook ideaal, de ingang van Nationaal park de Hoge Veluwe ligt letterlijk aan de overkant.

    There are bugs crawling around the farmhouse along the walls near the doors; the garden is dirty and there’s no umbrella. I’ll stick it out for 5 more days—I’ve found another place to live.     Lopen insecten rond op de fornhuis langs de muuren bij de deuren tuin vies geen parasol nog 5 daagjes volte houden andere woning gekregen weer tuin vies geen parasol 3e dag komen de schoonmaakers 2 minuten weg waren ze niets aangedaan .sorry maar mij zie je hier nooit meer.
