Unfortunately under renovation but very friendly people and very well maintained for a city campsite, lots of greenery and plenty of space. Sanitary facilities great, clean and partly new. We were delighted with the site.

Very bad experience. Blonde guy from the restaurant made racist remarks out of sight of guests. He was called as Niels by co-workers. Blond little guy.

The rating of the rooms refers to the pitches. The comfort pitches are all beautifully situated, separated by small dunes surrounded by many flowers. There are several sanitary buildings. A very new and large one is just a few steps away from our pitch. You can also wash up there and there are two washing machines and two dryers available. Both are paid for by EC card. The park offers the possibility to rent a barrel sauna for 4 persons. Reservations can be made at the reception. Use is included for customers of the park. Electricity is available directly at the Comfort pitches. Water is a few steps away. Everything is very clean and is cleaned regularly. I can recommend the park app to everyone. You can use it to order bread rolls, reserve a table at the Skal and the entertainment program is announced. All in all, a great campsite that has won my heart. Child-friendly, dog-friendly and a very good location are just some of the other advantages.

We were unfortunately quite disappointed upon our arrival at the beautiful apartment in Dishoek. You are tired and worn out and ready for a few days of real rest. Do you turn the door of the lock and there has not yet been cleaned and all the dirty bedding is still in the hallway. Also outside in the garden after cleaning the apartment was not cleaned .Table was still green and cushions dirty. We just cleaned that ourselves. That seems to be the trend nowadays not to clean the apartment or house, we had it in Roompot 2 years back in Nieuwvliet, last year in the Roompot Dishoek, the park next to you what is now Landal. And now again with you guys, we were really done with it. What a shock that was, were able to drive straight home again. Paying so much money for a few days and then ending up in a dirty apartment. After making a phone call we were given the opportunity to go for a drink on a terrace and claim the receipt. Sitting there waiting for 1.5 hours. That's not the point, I can pay for that drink myself. Furthermore, was not the password of the wifi in the house, but later turned out to be sent by email. But if you leave the laptop at home for rest and you don't have wifi there you can't read your mails there either. Everyone assumes you can read everything on your laptop or phone, but that's not the case with everyone. Surely it is a small effort to put the wifi on a piece of paper in the house. Surely check-in with code can also be sent in a message, why not the rest. Just like checking out, just indicate it in a message or app. I don't think there will be a next time Dishoek for us!!!!!!! Very good welcome, clean campsite.

We recently stayed at Urban Gardens for my husband’s 50th birthday celebration, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. I organised and brought a group of 15 people to the site across multiple bookings; all arranged around 6 months in advance. Despite this, two weeks before arrival we were informed that 2 of our cabin booking was being “upgraded” due to building works. In reality, this was a major downgrade. Instead of the cabin we had booked, we were placed in an extra small glamping tent with single beds that was full of baby spiders (about a quarter of the size of cabin we had originally booked, however they told us it was an upgrade). For a special birthday trip this was embarrassing and completely unacceptable, especially after planning so far ahead. It also became clear that the site had overbooked their cabins, as our group had five cabin bookings but only four cabins existed. The building work and accommodation issues were clearly known well in advance, yet we were only notified two weeks before arrival. Staff on site were polite but unable to help because management were apparently away on holiday and no one had authority to resolve the issue. We were told we would receive a 50% refund due to the situation, but despite a follow-up email, we have received no refund and no response whatsoever. An extremely disappointing experience made worse by poor customer service, misleading information, and a complete lack of communication and accountability, for their mistakes. Sadly, after this experience, we would not recommend you book at this site.
