I came here with a friend on a motorcycle; we stayed at a little campground. We were welcomed warmly, it was clean, and from there you can go in any direction—it’s a beautiful location.

A quiet campground where you can choose your own spot upon arrival. It’s not a 4-star campground, but it’s not bad either.

The biggest downside—and a real letdown for us—is that only one restroom building was open. For men, there were only two toilets and two showers available. That’s really not enough for a campground of this size and often resulted in wait times.

The adjacent swimming pool, on the other hand, is a big plus, and we found it nicer and more enjoyable than the one at OnlyCamp Besançon. During our stay, there was also a food truck, a singer’s performance, and a crêpe workshop for the kids. That created a cozy atmosphere and was a nice extra.

The campground’s location is also ideal. In the neighboring village, there’s a large market on Wednesdays with just about everything you could want. Plus, the bakery and supermarket are within walking distance. You can easily walk through the park and be there in no time.

A very quiet and relaxing campground. The owners are lovely and go out of their way to make guests happy. The lake is peaceful and there are very few people around. There’s a pool on the campground and a bar/restaurant. I highly recommend this place!

So, to start with, we’ve spent many of our camping vacations in the Netherlands so far, which is why we didn’t rate the rooms—since we always bring our own trailer. Therefore, my review focuses on the campground itself, although facilities like the pool and playgrounds are, of course, also used by guests staying in the chalets.
Unfortunately, we didn’t read the reviews for this campground until after we’d booked. Some of what’s said is true, while other things are a matter of interpretation—and you shouldn’t expect to get Dutch-standard accommodations or a 5-star campground. Let’s move on to the things the campground itself has little control over. The lake: due to the dry season, the water level is very low—it’s definitely 2–3 meters below normal. Algae growth, etc., as occurs in other bodies of water, is normal; it’s annoying but hard to change. Of course, trash and weeds could be removed, but you hardly ever see any staff here. In that respect, it’s up to the guests to take responsibility. The hedges have been trimmed, and overall, the condition of the campground didn’t shock me at first glance. What’s odd, though, are the trash cans scattered everywhere—and when they’re full, the bags are just left in front of them. Generally speaking, there’s potential here, but it’s not being utilized. There’s a great water slide on the lake’s beach, but it’s fenced off and not in operation—why? No idea; there doesn’t seem to be a logical reason. The shop is a joke; the selection in our pantry is bigger. The rolls are extremely expensive for pre-baked goods. Two whole-grain rolls, two Kaiser rolls, and one chocolate roll… €7. By the way, doing one load of laundry also costs €7; I have no idea about drying—probably similar. Now for something positive... The pool area was clean and well-maintained during our visit—one of the few highlights of this park/resort. However—and this was absolutely shocking and disconcerting to us— There are no lifeguards or staff members checking to make sure everything is okay—at least not every now and then. There are cameras, but they’re connected to tiny monitors at the front desk where you can’t see a thing, so they might as well not be there.
Why am I going into such detail about this? We ourselves had an incident with five Dutch teenagers at the pool; they deliberately kept splashing water on us, were rowdy, and provoked us. The front desk didn’t seem to care when we reported it, so we left the premises. More on that later. The next day, one of the teenagers jumped on the head of a woman as she was diving into the pool; the woman asked what he was doing, and the teenager spat in her face—no apology, nothing. Her husband also confronted him and was called a racist. Unfortunately, it was another Dutch person. The third time, however, was absolutely horrifying. A family with two children—one of whom had a disability, perhaps 5 or 6 years old. The five teenagers who had already harassed us singled him out as a “target” and attacked him in the water. What do you do as a parent? You protect your child. The teenagers let go of the child after the father told them to, but only after he had to tell them several times. What happened next left us speechless. The family had their tent one row behind us; they were sitting in front of their tent when the father of one of the teenagers came over, punched the father twice in the face, and walked away without saying a word. I know these are serious accusations, but unfortunately, that’s how it happened. We won’t be visiting the pool for the rest of our stay. I’ve never experienced anything like this in all these years, and I don’t want to experience it again.
Finally, the restrooms. There’s a reason there are no pictures: they’re worn out, small, and have long since seen better days. Although they were clean during our stay, it wasn’t the kind of place you’d enjoy taking a shower. The price for a shower token—50 cents—is okay. All in all, we definitely won’t be coming back.

Kemp Ježevac na nás celkovo urobil veľmi dobrý dojem. Veľkým plusom sú výborne vybavené detské kútiky, kde sa deti naozaj zabavia. Pláž je krásna, čistá a vhodná pre rodiny s deťmi. Bazény sú super a nájdu si tu zábavu aj väčšie deti.

Na druhej strane by bolo dobré zapracovať na sociálnych zariadeniach. Nie sú zlé, ale v porovnaní s kempom v Baške sú staršie a aj údržba by mohla byť lepšia.

Celkovo hodnotíme kemp veľmi pozitívne. Má skvelú atmosféru, výbornú pláž a množstvo aktivít pre deti, takže by sme sa sem bez problémov vrátili.

Na začiatok – sme štvorčlenná rodina, dvaja dospelí a dve deti do 10 rokov. Pre nás je to zatiaľ najlepší kemp, aký sme navštívili.

Parcely sú pekné, oddelené živými plotmi, čo poskytuje dostatok súkromia. Sociálne zariadenia sú veľké, moderné a vždy čisté. More je blízko a bazény so šmykľavkami sú ideálne najmä pre menšie deti.

V reštaurácii sme neboli, pretože ceny nás odradili už pri príchode. Na druhej strane, obchod priamo v kempe je výborný. Nájdete tam všetky základné potraviny a ceny sú také, že sa kvôli nákupu ani neoplatí chodiť do dediny.

Celkovo hodnotíme kemp výborne a radi sa sem v budúcnosti vrátime.

Disappointing... the campsites are generally nice, spacious, and shaded, but... aside from that positive point... the lack of staff is obvious... bottom line... the staff are doing their best and remain friendly, but they’re overwhelmed....
The restrooms aren’t cleaned often enough, which is a shame because, in theory, if guests were more considerate, it might be okay, but no… really not…
The smells are awful in front of the restrooms—maybe it’s also related to the RV waste disposal area…

I’d also like to mention the noise at night… We chose this campground specifically because it stated that quiet was required between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.... but after midnight, it’s chaos.... People are shouting and talking loudly—we can’t sleep... If I’d wanted a campground with entertainment, I would have chosen one accordingly...

The pool, which is supposed to close at 7 p.m., is overrun with disrespectful teenagers until late at night. All they’d have to do is close the gate at 7 p.m., but the staff doesn’t have the time..
We’ll never set foot in another campground from this chain again—it seems to prioritize cutting staff costs at the expense of service quality...which is disrespectful, especially since the rates aren’t exactly low.
