A great campground for exploring Strasbourg. It's about 2.5 km by bike to the Old Town. Great bike paths, and the morning bread delivery service worked perfectly. The sites are plenty big and very easy to access.

A great location where you can go for incredibly beautiful walks. The Hillside cottages are beautifully designed. You hardly see any other cottages—just greenery and beautiful views.

I had a really fun fall break

For a quick "getaway"—we searched for and found a place. The presence of a sauna and bathtub, complemented by a wood-fired hot tub, was the deciding factor. As far as we’re concerned, the immediate area around the hot tub could use a bit more attention to privacy.
The accommodation looked clean. Walking barefoot inside left black marks on the soles of your feet.
A sink drain turned out to be clogged, and the hot tub had water of a strange color (old, used water?). Previous guests had messed with the TV settings, causing the signal to be lost.
Enough negatives.
On the plus side
Quiet location that’s easy to reach (Google Maps still has some glitches, while the ANWB route planner works fine)
Towel package and bedding were superbly organized.
The sauna is perfectly adequate (great)
For the first time, I had a bathtub at the foot of my bed, which was also nice, though it must be said that a brief explanation of how to operate the faucet would be helpful here.
We had a great time.
The service and communication before, during, and after our stay felt a bit like spam (a lot of it), but all in all, we appreciated it.

Brilliant couple of nights with Claire and Neal. We were in a campervan. Lovely campsite set well away from it all. Fantastic pub - loved the interior and the food (and the Guinness). Such interesting hosts who have so much planned. They couldn't have been more welcoming and spoilt our dog rotten. Highly recommend.
