Feather Down Layer Marney TowerI have been to Layer Marney Tower on lots of occassions. Visiting, individually and as part of a group. i have attended weddings and functions too. Whenever I have been the place has fascinated me, the team have charmed me and I could not have enjoyed myself more. My last visit was summer 24 and I will be back for their Christmas activities. Could not recommend it highly enough!

Camping de MolenhoekThe chalet was very nice and we could also enjoy the quiet vacation on site and by the sea! The place is very clean even at this time of year. The communication with the owner of the chalet was very polite and friendly, all information was exchanged before the start of the trip. We also knew that the reception of Familiencsmping De Molen was closed when we arrived. So we "dragged" all our luggage and the food we had brought with us to the chalet! (Arrival was on Saturday). The following Monday we say that the reception was open with several employees and so we approached the reception staff and asked if there was a possibility to get a barrier card for the entrance and exit for the day of departure, because what we had brought with us was quite heavy and we would have to carry it. A colleague immediately said.....they don't do that.... a member of staff then said...... Then you have to lug everything out again. This reaction really blew us away, because I had thought that they would be looking for a solution. From our point of view, it might have been possible to give us a barrier card for the day of departure in return for a deposit. Once the card was returned, the deposit could have been transferred to our account. You could see that my husband and I are not young people and a solution would certainly have helped us. Unfortunately no!!! That was disappointing and certainly something to reflect on in De Molen! Otherwise Holland and the beautiful North Sea is our favorite vacation spot. Mr. and Mrs. Mundinar

Das Chalet war sehr schön und wir könnten somit auch den ruhigen Urlaub vor Ort und am Meer genießen! Der Platz ist auch in dieser Jahreszeit sehr sauber. Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer des Chalet's war sehr höflich und freundlich, alle Informationen wurden vor Reiseantritt ausgetauscht. So wussten wir auch, dass bei unserer Anreise die Rezeption des Familiencsmping De Molen geschlossen ist. So haben wir unser ganzes Gepäck und die mitgebrachten Lebensmittel zum Chalet "geschleppt"! (Anreise war Samstags). Am darauffolgenden Montag sagen wir, dass die Rezeption mit mehreren Mitarbeitern geöffnet war und so gingen wir auf die Mitarbeiter der Rezeption zu und fragten ob es die Möglichkeit gäbe, eine Schrankenkarte für die Ein- und Ausfahrt für den Tag der Abreise bekommen können, da das Mitgebrachte ziemlich schwer ist und wir das schleppen müssten. Ein Kollege sagte sofort.....das machen sie nicht....eine Mitarbeiterin sagte anschließend...... Dann müssen sie alles wieder rausschleppen. Diese Reaktion hat uns ziemlich umgehauen, denn ich hatte gedacht, dass man nach einer Lösung suchen würde. Aus unserer Sicht wäre es doch vielleicht möglich gewesen, uns gegen eine Kaution, eine Schrankenkarte für den Tag der Abreise zu überlassen. Nach Rückgabe der Karte hätte man sicher die Kaution auf unser Konto überweisen können. Man konnte sehen, dass mein Mann und ich keine jungen Menschen sind und uns eine Lösung sicherlich geholfen hätte. Leider nein!!! Das war enttäuschend und sicherlich kann man da in De Molen noch einmal reflektieren! Ansonsten ist Holland und die schönen Nordsee unser Liebelingsort für Urlaub. Eheleute Mundinar
