The peace and natural environment. Great mentality of the people, but that's why we love going to Twente and or Drenthe.

The campsite is very much integrated into nature and has lots of old trees. The rental properties are very attractive, clean and well-kept. The pitches are large with lots of greenery all around. The community house is beautiful and cozy. I would love to come back.

A very nice vacation spot. Vacation home is super nice and functional, great! Unfortunately not very well cleaned on arrival and also equipment (kitchen) very poor.

Nice place, a small hedge separates it from the paths - private bathroom is great - restaurant, the staff can be improved, a drinks menu is missing, burgers are highly recommended - due to the humid weather and the warm climate we had a strong visit from mosquitoes, pack suitable medication and precautions in your luggage - supermarket a good selection of bread rolls and other products, I wish there were more typical local products - noise from people and animals kept within limits, children could always be heard due to the small play areas scattered around the site, we also heard screaming children.

We went for 1 weekend. It was fantastic! Wonderfully enjoyed the sauna and hot tub... it was clear in the evening so admired a beautiful starry sky. The house is fully equipped. Completely relaxed we went home. Highly recommended.

Nice looking campsite, slightly remote, but very quiet. We were on a touring pitch, very tight with trees, very muddy and very shady, which made it very difficult to set up/navigate on and off and becuase of the mud and shade, a lot of gnats. The bar/cafe area was very nice, but limited selection of food and the swimming pool area very limited. MY wife and I have stayed at a Huttopia before but would not receommend this one for adults

Slow life

Unfortunately due to sudden illness we had to cancel our 2 fatbikes. Communicated early in the morning by email and also called. In this conversation I was already told that nothing could be arranged. Still, we had hoped for some leniency. Partial refund and/or discount on a new part of the day to be scheduled. Of course I also understand that they might not be able to rent these 2 fatbikes that day, but this was almost impossible given the beautiful weather conditions that day. All in all, too bad about their response.

Always good, nice pitches and neat sanitary block.

Fine week had with my daughter at farmer Douwe and his animals. Everything well taken care of and a friendly atmosphere in the yard. In the morning we could walk barefoot onto the grass in front of the tent house and make coffee and cook eggs on the wood stove.
