Never again! Even one star is too many here.
I'm just speechless!!

A wonderfully peaceful campground. Very spacious sites. The small trees don’t provide any shade yet. There are beautiful walking and biking trails in the immediate vicinity.

A lovely little house, a large garden with several seating areas and our "own" squirrel, plenty of shade, a swimming pool nearby, and delicious breakfasts and dinners at the restaurant. We had a wonderful time.

We were only there for 2 nights. The apartment could have been a little cleaner for that price. If the baby is completely covered in black from crawling around, maybe the floor should be wiped down with a damp cloth ;-), and the kitchen is very outdated. Otherwise, the amenities were okay.
Quiet campground, friendly staff (as far as we could tell), nice playground and swimming area.
The area is very beautiful.
There are plenty of dispensers for dog waste bags on the grounds, which is great—it would be even better if they were actually stocked.

I just got back from this campground and I highly recommend it! Due to the heat wave, I had to reschedule my stay, and the staff was very understanding—at no extra cost. Upon my arrival, they had reserved a shaded Freecamp site for me—it was very quiet and pleasant.

All the staff are welcoming, cheerful, and very polite, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The campground also has an excellent location, just a few minutes’ walk from shops, the Dordogne River, and the magnificent abbey church.

A big thank you to the entire team for their kindness and professionalism. I’ll be happy to come back!
