We spent our weekend from November 1 to 3, 2024 enjoying Etretat and the surrounding area at this campsite. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome we received. Arriving late due to poor traffic conditions on Thursday 31/10, we had to sleep in the parking lot with our Van as the entrance gate closed at 11pm. Explaining this situation to reception the next day, a member of staff kindly offered to give us breakfast. Then, throughout the weekend, we were able to take advantage of the staff's assistance to enjoy a pleasant stay. A little bonus: the swimming pool was heated until the campsite closed on November 3, which of course kept the children happy.

At night, the heaters always went out on their own, so the room got very cold and we froze. My wife got sick because of it. It was 3-5°C outside, so that shouldn't really be the case. Apart from that, there was mold on the walls of the closet in the bedroom and it also smelled of mold. We had to leave the door open at night so that we could sleep there because it smelled of mold, which made the room even colder. There were also cobwebs on the walls, dead spiders and dead mosquitoes. Apart from that, it was still fun.

Overall top! I had a tent with me for one night, so I never used the rooms. Service was clear and good, friendly people. Plumbing was also very clean.

Excellent location for exploring Ghent city centre. Just outside the campsite there is a bus stop and buses leave every fifteen minutes for Ghent centre. Journey takes about 15 minutes. The site has a small bar open in the evenings and a pizza van some evenings too. Shower/ toilets blocks were clean. Only small negative was due to the rain, the pitches and grounds were very muddy. Please bear in mind this is an inner city campsite near main roads. |Ghent is a beautiful city and I would definitely recommend a visit.

This campsite is an excellent location for Ypres as it’s just a short ten minute walk into the centre. It’s only an hours drive from Dunkirk ferry port. The shower block was very clean and warm. The pitches were level .Please bear in mind this is a city campsite not a rural countryside site. Ypres is a beautiful city. I would recommend going to the Menin gate at 8pm for ‘The last post’.

We had booked a Welness cottage with jacuzzi and sauna.|We were very surprised by the |very nice and clean cottage.|In a beautiful setting. |The jacuzzi was checked every day. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend.||The only downside was ordering the sandwiches. That has to be done via a QR code. And you have to get them across the street at a gas station/bicycle rental business. Order had not come through properly.

Liked: Lovely position next to lake Disliked: Aeroplane noise on some days but when you camp next to a busy airport I should expect it

We wanted a quick weekend getaway during the fall break and ended up at Mooi Bemelen. The price was very attractive so we were curious about the house itself. We were later than indicated because we were in a traffic jam but the ladies on the phone and eventually the reception were very friendly. The entrance and the park itself looked tip top! We came inside and WOW. Literally WOW. And I'm really not exaggerating. Everything was new and neat and clean. Even under the beds was spick and span. We have enjoyed and were so in Maastricht and Valkenburg. Beautiful surroundings and we recommend it to everyone to come and stay here for a weekend! We will definitely come back because we did not have enough time to do and see everything.

We’ve used Warren Farm since the early 70s. The owner Jon along with his son Chris and Mike and their families have got this site and facilities absolutely spot on. Customer service is at the forefront of their minds rather than making a buck or two. The fields are well appointed and toilet blocks clean. Staff are extremely friendly, special shout out to Kayleigh in the play barn who has been a star helping the kids when their prizes were stuck in machine. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The on-site shop is superb too. Pets corner and Danny and Luna have been favourites over the years.|I’d go to Warren farm first before any other site in Brean. The Beachcomber too is always nice and busy and great for a fun family night out, and they don’t charge to park your car!

Stayed in a cottage here last week. The kids had a great time at both the entertainment and the pool. Really liked the pool disco. Cottage was basic but clean and good. All in all a week worth repeating.
