The weather is great and the campground is quiet

The campground is very well-maintained, but a scooter runs all night long and there’s no security to stop it. It’s impossible to sleep. Likewise, teenagers are yelling all night in the walkways. There needs to be a security service to enforce quiet hours a bit more, because this completely ruins the experience at this campground, which is otherwise very beautiful and well-located.

We went for a week in July 2026. A family of five with three children.
The campground is clean and well-maintained, and the pool is nice.
However, the campground is on a steep hill, making it impossible for the kids to ride bikes or scooters.
We were way up at the top and had a superb view, but we had to drive everywhere we went. It’s not necessarily their fault, but with our three kids, it’s pretty inconvenient.
The restaurant is nice, with a beautiful view, but there are no restrooms. And there’s no service during the evening activities—a real shame.

The bungalow was brand new and very clean—no complaints there. Superb enclosed terrace.
The activities were just so-so—not up to Sandaya’s usual standards. The activity leader is great—you can tell he’s doing his best—but the rest of the team really isn’t up to par. The activities are terrible, and they lack resources.

In summary, there are positives and negatives depending on what you’re looking for. But I sincerely think Sandaya still has work to do to reach the standard of a traditional Sandaya, and frankly, that’s no easy task.

Great campground—very pleasant, with super-friendly and helpful staff. Instead of 2 nights, we ended up staying 5 nights.

Highly recommended—the glamping tents are everything you’d expect: luxury combined with that relaxing outdoor vibe. And it’s all set on a genuine, traditional French campground. No fuss with entertainment or a campground supermarket. A great swimming pool and simple dining options. Nestled among French villages and country roads, yet with major cities nearby and their hypermarkets. And if you have a tent on the lower edge, you’ll look out over the rolling meadows where cows wander. Lovely.

A really great location, and the owners were incredibly friendly and hospitable! Everything was perfect.

I was really hesitant to book because of some of the reviews, but what a beautifully renovated campground! The restroom building is brand-new and fully equipped! There are cooking facilities, a laundromat, and—in addition to the regular restrooms—a separate shower area just for kids. We stayed in an 8-person cabin, which was very spacious and clean. It’s quiet there, and you’re just a short walk from the lake, where there’s a nice snack stand selling ice cream. If you’re looking for entertainment, you won’t find any here. Personally, I don’t mind that at all, since you can go for beautiful walks and bike rides in nature. You can rent SUPs and swim in the lake. There’s a playground with a bouncy castle and ping-pong. So there’s plenty to do and enjoy.
