We stayed here for 9 nights starting on September 10 (2 adults, 2 dogs, and a trailer) and had a spot by the river. Although it’s a large campground—and was “fully booked” every day—it’s a quiet place. There was a turnover of campers every day; many campers seem to stay only 1 or 2 nights. It was a great campground for us. The staff is very friendly (they speak Dutch, French, German, and English). You can also get plenty of information about the region at the reception desk. Making a reservation is quick and easy via the website:

. So we were parked on a spot by the river. The sites aren’t very large, but they’re big enough for a caravan (7 meters) with an awning and a car. You park your car next to your camping unit. The sites are separated only at the back by a hedge.

The restrooms are practical, clean, and equipped with toilet paper and a hand dryer. The restaurant is quite a pleasant surprise. The menu offers plenty of dishes, and they’re beautifully presented with fresh vegetables. We had the cordon bleu and chicken satay menus (highly recommended)

The campground is located near a bus stop heading toward Diekirch and Ettelbruck (less than a 5-minute walk from the reception). The Cactus supermarket and a pharmacy are within walking distance (about 10 minutes), and there’s a Lidl within biking distance (or take the bus). The campground is practically right on the “Eislekpad Diekirch” hiking trail. And with free public transportation, all the sights throughout the country are easily accessible—we didn’t need a car during our stay.

Un lloc magnífic. Envoltat de natura, instal.lacions còmodes i molt agradables. Si estigúés a tocar del mar seria únic, però vaja , està a menys de 10 minuts en cotxe, així que està super bé! Un luxe poder allotjar-te aquí.
