Camping Le Coin TranquilleWe camped here for 5 nights with our RV. A wonderful spot in a beautiful area. Super clean, friendly and cheerful staff, a nice pool, delicious bread and pizza, and a lovely restaurant.
A great base for visiting Annecy and Grenoble. Cycling to the village is a bit of a challenge! It’s very steep, but walking is perfectly doable.this is a translation, click here for the original
Wij kampeerden hier 5 nachten met de caravan. Heerlijke plek in schitterend gebied.
Les Abrets in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

Camping Village Capo d'OrsoA very nice campground. The sites with a view of the ocean are especially amazing. They show you around the campground beforehand in a golf cart, so you can find an open spot—great service.
Very nice wash houses. There’s a new, beautiful wash house especially up above the ASCI sites.
We extended our stay twice because the campground is so beautiful.
Small supermarket—but sufficient for a few days.
Super nice pool area.
Unfortunately, swim caps are required—that’s sure to scare guests away. Unthinkable in Germany.
No Wi-Fi on the grounds—only at the front desk.
It’s possible to bike to Palau, but there are some steep climbs. Doable with e-bikes. Light car traffic.this is a translation, click here for the original
In Deutschland undenkbar.
Geringer Autoverkehr.Palau in Sardinia

TAIGA Lake CaspeIf you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, especially if you enjoy fishing and being surrounded by nature, Taiga Lake Caspe is a great place to consider.
The resort is very large and has two spacious camping areas, with plenty of room for caravans, motorhomes, tents, and cars with rooftop tents. We stayed for 2 days with a car and rooftop tent and paid €58, excluding electricity, which we found reasonable for the stay.
The staff were okay and check-in was straightforward. One thing to note is that they requested the passport or ID of every person staying, whereas at many other campsites, usually only one person’s ID is required.
There’s a small on-site shop selling essentials such as gas, food, cheese, drinks, and snacks. There’s also a restaurant where you can eat and have a drink. For those who enjoy outdoor cooking, there are designated picnic areas where you can cook using charcoal.
The bathroom facilities were clean, which was definitely a plus.
Because the resort is very large, you may need to use your car to reach the lake, especially if your pitch is farther away. The lake itself was nice for fishing, and it’s a place where you can potentially catch some very large fish. 🎣
There is also a swimming pool, although during our visit it didn’t look as clean as we would have liked.
The resort also offers rooms and cabins, although these are considerably more expensive than camping.
One thing we noticed, especially as first-time visitors, is that there doesn’t seem to be a dedicated Instagram or TikTok page where potential guests can easily see what the resort actually looks like, explore the different areas, and watch videos or reviews from people who have stayed there. Having more recent video content from real visitors would be really helpful for people planning their first visit.
Overall, We had a good experience and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for somewhere relaxed, particularly for fishing, camping, and spending time in nature. It’s a huge property with plenty of space and useful facilities. Just keep in mind that the lake can be a drive from your camping area, and the pool could have been cleaner.
🎣 Best suited for: Fishing • Camping • Nature • Relaxing getaways • Caravans • Motorhomes • Rooftop tents
Overall: a good experience, especially if your priority is fishing and a quiet escape.Caspe in Aragón

Camping Il PoggettoUnfortunately, it was a disappointing experience, especially when it came to the restaurant.
We stayed here for a short weekend, and as far as the campground goes, no complaints: overall, it was a positive experience. The restaurant, on the other hand, was a real disaster, both in terms of the quality of the food and, above all, the way customers are treated.
I ordered a fillet with green pepper sauce, which tasted terrible and decidedly off from the very first bite. I took a second bite, cut it open, and smelled it: the foul odor was even more obvious. I then asked the waitress, in a very polite manner, if it would be possible to replace the dish. The waitress apologized and told us that these things can happen.
So far, all understandable.
The real problem arose at the cash register. When it came time to pay, a man—presumably the owner—was called over. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he adopted an extremely arrogant and unpleasant attitude toward me.
He told me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the filet, that they had sold seven of them that evening, and that I was the one who didn’t understand meat. He even insinuated that I probably didn’t know there was mustard on the plate. Finally, he informed me that he would charge me 50% of the dish’s price.
A truly baffling approach to customer service.
I didn’t want to argue and simply paid my 89 euros for dinner, including 50% of a fillet steak that, personally, I consider one of the worst I’ve ever eaten.
The issue isn’t the 89 euros; it’s the principle—and above all, the way a customer who politely points out a problem is treated. If a customer sends a dish back because they don’t like it, I don’t expect to be mocked, much less told that I don’t know anything about meat.
The campground may be pleasant, but a positive experience is completely ruined by a restaurant that, at least in my opinion, demonstrated poor quality and, above all, a severe lack of respect for the customer.
I strongly advise against eating at this establishment.
I was extremely disappointed—not so much by the fillet as by the arrogance and total lack of professionalism shown in handling the situation.this is a translation, click here for the original
