Peaceful location, by waterside with filly serviced camping pitches and holiday lodges 2nd time round arrived a day early flexible on changes on arrival

Overall, it was a nice stay. I’d especially like to congratulate the yoga instructor—the campground offers this activity for free, and it was a great bonus to our stay.
As for the glamping tent—in our case, we were assigned 35D—it’s located at the back of the campground, separated from the RV area by wooden screens. To be honest, the location isn’t the best, but then we went for a walk around the pool area and the atmosphere is completely different… it’s a shame they’ve left these four tents hidden back there; you just can’t enjoy them the same way.
As for the inside of the tent, it was a bit cramped; the fabric was covered with all kinds of marks. They treat the floor like it’s outdoors—it’s never cleaned—so don’t even think about putting anything on the floor, because it’ll get stained with brown dirt…. That’s a shame, and on top of that, the tent doesn’t seal completely, so at night, if you turn on the light inside, all kinds of forest creatures come to visit… Anyway, luckily we’re not too fussy, so we were able to enjoy ourselves just the same. But there are a few things that could be improved.

Overall impression & organization:
Marina di Venezia is an impressively large resort that is run with a high degree of professionalism. It’s immediately apparent in many areas that the operators know their business: the processes are well-organized, and the resort is very well-maintained. A real highlight is the central shopping street: It offers an excellent selection and, above all, stands out for its absolutely fair, down-to-earth prices that reflect the cost of living outside the campground—this is by no means a given at campgrounds in this category and deserves high praise
​Size vs. Amenities (Entertainment & Arena):
Size alone, however, isn’t automatically a sign of quality. At a campground of this size, the infrastructure reaches its limits in some areas. The event arena simply seems too small relative to the enormous number of guests, and the entertainment program also remains rather modest for a campground of this scale. The quality is solid—but not particularly outstanding. There are always a few highlights (David Larible is unforgettable)—it’s just a matter of whether you happen to catch them or not. In this regard, some significantly smaller resorts offer a more dense and cohesive overall program. But on the last day of the season, the entertainment team was outstanding and really gave it their all.

​Main point of criticism: Pool area & lounge chair policy (“AquaMarina Park”):
The main reason for the point deduction lies with the pool area. The pools themselves are fine and clean, but they fall short—in terms of size, appeal, and modern standards—of the high expectations and image this resort otherwise conveys. The amount of water and open space per guest is simply too limited.
​What’s truly frustrating and outdated, however, is the way the lounge chairs are handled:
​On the beach, the system of reserved lounge chair sets is well-established in Italy; it makes sense, and the value for money there is spot on.
​At the pool, on the other hand, a paid rental system is an absolute no-go given the already high overall prices charged by the resort.
​Anyone who has already paid for their lounge chairs on the beach during the day and wants to switch to the pool area with the kids for an hour or two in the afternoon faces a real problem: Since there are hardly any freely accessible places to sit or put things down, you’re literally stuck in the hallway, not knowing where to put your towels or how to sit down for a moment—unless you rent sun loungers a second time that same day. For a resort of this caliber and price range, this is absolutely unacceptable and noticeably spoils the stay.

​Conclusion:
A superbly organized resort with many advantages in terms of amenities and the beach. However, anyone who values a spacious, modern, and guest-friendly pool area without hidden extra costs will be disappointed here. Three out of five stars—with significant room for improvement in the pool concept.
