A very beautiful campground—a natural paradise.

A camping paradise, where a spirit of camaraderie reigns; the setting created by Mother Nature and enhanced by the staff is unquestionably beautiful; the comfort and cleanliness of the trailer are impeccable; the friendliness, helpfulness of Isabelle and Régis exceed all expectations. There’s a superb pool, a river, and charming little nooks nestled right in the midst of the local flora and fauna.
I postponed my departure twice before finally leaving this idyllic spot, with an irresistible urge to return.

For people with small backpacking tents, it’s very annoying that there’s still loud talking and laughing all over the campground until very late (after midnight). Otherwise, it’s a great campground, but there should be a clear quiet hours policy or a separate area for tents.

Very nice campground, with large, clearly marked sites—some shaded, some sunny. There’s some traffic on the road, though less so on weekends. Located 7.5 km from Besançon; easy to reach by bike via village roads and bike paths—definitely worth the trip since it’s a beautiful city—or take the tram, a 10-minute walk away, which is free on Saturdays. ACSI rate: 17.80 for a campervan with 2 people, including electricity. The reception staff were very friendly and professional. The restrooms have been renovated but could be cleaned better—the floors were washed but not wiped dry properly, and they weren’t swept. Toilet paper and soap provided. Fresh bread in the morning. The TV worked despite the tall trees.

After a 1,500-km trip, we spent ten wonderful days at the Polari campground. We had actually planned to visit different campsites, but we felt so at home there that we ended up staying the whole time (extending our stay was no problem). The four of us, with two cars and a trailer, were able to share a single spot—so the value for money was fantastic! We were at the water’s edge in just a minute, and the beach is truly gorgeous. We’ve never seen such clean restrooms—they’re cleaned around the clock during the day, and the cleaning staff are very friendly. We can’t say much about the prices at the campground itself—we took advantage of off-site dining options, and there are several good restaurants within walking distance.
The only criticism is the trash disposal—especially glass disposal—since it’s allowed without any quiet hours, meaning it can happen at night and, of course, causes noise. At seven in the morning, the full glass containers were emptied… unfortunately, that wasn’t ideal…
Otherwise, we were really completely satisfied; we’ll definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next visit :-)

Perfect for a short getaway. The bus takes you for free to the Old Town, right in front of the square. Be careful—Google Maps sends you over the mountains, which is a real adventure. It’s better to take the route along the main roads.
