A beautiful lake with a beach and a good restaurant! A nice campground for a stopover.

I wouldn't go back.
We went there on vacation less than a week ago. And while the weather (the heat wave isn’t their fault), the dirtiness of the campsites (they aren’t cleaned at all between guests…), and the cleanliness of the common areas left a lot to be desired (or perhaps, given the number of people, more frequent cleaning was needed), the lack of supervision in common areas where teenagers spent all day with their speakers listening to music (even in the bathrooms and showers, despite signs saying it wasn’t allowed)... All of this meant that something that started off very well gradually deteriorated to the point where I’d say, “I won’t be back.”
I believe that 6 toilets + 6 men’s showers and 6 toilets (2 of which were out of order) + 6 women’s showers, for 74 campsites, was more than inadequate; there were constant lines during the typical early morning and late evening hours, accompanied by nonstop music blaring from the teenagers’ speakers.
The laundry area with 3 machines and two sinks for 74 campsites… seemed like a bad joke.
The kids’ activities, led by María at the start, seemed fine… But then we began to notice that even though she was doing all the work, the other two were slacking off. Miguel did something, but half-heartedly; as for the other girl (I think her name was Marta, but I’m not 100% sure), she was a total slacker—no activities took place because she didn’t want to do them, and the other two refused to do everything (understandably). And the icing on the cake was “Chocolatito” (that’s what he calls himself) by promising all the kids ice cream if they came to the mini-disco, and when the mini-disco ended, he told them, “Well, have your parents buy it for you—I’ve got a mortgage to pay.” The ice cream is the least of it, but if you promise something and 20 kids show up at the mini-disco for the ice cream—and you didn’t want to give it to them in the first place—then just don’t promise anything, period. Let the 6 to 8 kids who went to the mini-disco every day be the ones to come. My daughter was very upset and even thought they weren’t getting ice cream because they’d danced badly… You could just not say anything, or if you do promise something, grab a pack of “polines” and cut them in half—that way, for €2 or less, you’ll keep the kids happy when you make a promise.
Several activities weren’t held or were changed on the fly—a total lack of organization that they only announced over the PA system a short while beforehand.
In short, a campground that, for the first two days, had me thinking “I’ll be back,” but ended up making me say, “I’m sorry, but don’t count on me anymore.”

What a great vacation park! Top location—it doesn’t get any better than this—with a private beach where you can walk kilometers out into the water. The park is very beautiful and quiet—even with kids and pets! I’ll definitely be back!
The cottages are nicely furnished and modern. The layout is also great! The only things I’d like to point out: In the summer, the cottages heat up very quickly with the doors closed; air conditioning would be great. Also, upon arrival, there was still trash from the previous guests in the trash can, and the curtain rod high up on the ceiling was no longer secured in its mount. They could have checked that beforehand.
On the great terrace, there was only one table with chairs and a parasol. There simply aren’t any lounge chairs or lounge furniture for relaxing—that’s a real shame.
Unfortunately, the snack bar is rarely open; overall, the park could offer a bit more up front, but that’s just nitpicking! It’s worth making the trip to Hindeloopen—such a great place with fantastic restaurants, shopping options, fresh fish at the harbor, and just a wonderful atmosphere!
I was there with my dog and child and would absolutely recommend it for both dogs and kids!

Since the new director took over, the quality of the campground has deteriorated significantly. One evening, the lights on the pétanque court were turned off at 11:20 p.m. while about 70 people were still playing, which caused a great deal of disappointment among the vacationers. Management did not respond or offer a solution.

The manager does not seem particularly approachable, and the staff often appear overwhelmed by the situation. The bar closes no later than 11:30 p.m., which severely limits the opportunities to enjoy evenings at the campground.

As for prices, they are excessive both at the bar and at the grocery store: €3.60 for a Pepsi or €5.50 for a frozen Nutella waffle—this seems hard to justify for a campground of this category.

Entertainment is virtually nonexistent, which contributes to a rather lackluster atmosphere. Furthermore, the lagoon no longer seems to be maintained as it once was: the presence of large black debris is unsightly, and overall hygiene leaves much to be desired.

The only real positive is security, which is impeccable.

All in all, this trip was a huge disappointment, especially considering the campground’s past quality. In our opinion, the experience used to be much better. Those seeking absolute peace and quiet might find what they’re looking for here, but for everyone else, the lack of activities and atmosphere is likely to be very frustrating.

We’re currently in the second week of our three-week vacation at this campground. When we arrived, there was a “redneck” a few sites away from us who would sometimes play music or be noisy. They regularly came over to our site to socialize. We’re not rude and spoke with them for a few minutes each time.

Security came by to warn us that we needed to behave. Of course, we didn’t like that, so we explained our side of the story. We didn’t get the impression that they believed us.

When we attended the Samoza/Saxenburg party tonight, the woman in our group was approached by the park’s janitor, who was having a drink there. He told her that he’d seen her walking around the campground several times over the past week. He then made hand-kissing gestures and wanted a high-five if she was in the area again. Of course, we didn’t like that either.

We still have two weeks left here, and we’ve already felt the need to post this review, which shows how we feel about this place, its visitors, and its staff.

We’ve spent 1,800 euros, and we still have two weeks to go. Not a success for us.

The location in the Veluwe is great, though.

Ich war als Gast bei einer Freundin vom 28.06 bis 03.07.2026 auf ihrem Campingplatz. Am Mittwoch abends, es war noch hell und windstill, wäre ich fast vom einem riesigen Ast einer Föhre getroffen worden. Eine weitere Freundin, die auch Gast war, hat ihr Auto vormittags vom Baum weiter weg gestellt, weil dieser Baum stark geharzt hat. Der Ast kam vor ihrem Auto herunter. Sie und ich haben Glück gehabt. Aber die Angst ist geblieben. Es wurde bei der Rezeption angerufen Ein Mitarbeiter von Maestra ist gekommen und hat alles angesehen und fotografiert. Auch wir haben Fotos gemacht. Wir wurden für eine Nacht in einem tollen Mobile Home untergebracht. Am nächsten Tag in der Früh wurde der Ast weggeräumt. Wir sind wieder zurück zum Camping Platz der Freundin. Weil der alte Baum (übrigens mit einem roten Punkt gekennzeichnet) weiter gefährlich ist, hat die Freundin und die Managerin gebeten, dass der Baum von ihr oder einem Sachverständigen angeschaut wird und weitere Schritte seitens MAESTRA unternommen werden. Bis heute ist dort NIEMAND erschienen. Muss wirklich etwas schreckliches passieren, damit seitens MAESTRA reagiert wird??? wird??????

Mal som tú možnosť sa ubytovať v mobilnom dome "Victoria", mobilný dom č. 5. Najodpornejší zážitok v celom mojom živote.
Toto miesto nebolo len zlé bola to biologická hrozba maskovaná za ubytovanie. Slovo „nechutné“ to ani zďaleka nevystihuje. Bolo to špinavé, zaprášené, stiesnené ako rakva a páchlo to čistým zúfalstvom. Bielizeň bola vlhká, zaschnuté škvrny bohvie čoho a voňali, ako keby ich už použival dakto celý mesiac predomnou . . Matrac s hnedými flakmi sa prehýbal tak hlboko, že som mal pocit, ako keby ma pomaly pohltil hrob. V okamihu, keď som po 2 hodinovom vybavovaní kľúčov od domu otvoril dvere, ma zasiahol brutálny zvracania sa hodný zápach, ktorý explodoval z upchatej toalety.. ale ak by toto nebolo dostatočne zlé… Prvú noc sme išli spať na pláž, aby sa to tam vyvetralo… Zistili sme,že tu nie sú žiadne uteráky. Žiadne hubky.. Žiadny prostriedok na umývanie riadu. Žiadny toaletný papier. Ani jediné ubohé hotelové mydlo či umývacia utierka. Aspoň, že tam boli riady so zaschnutým jedlom.... hrozné...Teplá voda šla len prvé tri dni. Viacej sa oplatilo sprchovať na verejných WC… Dokúpili sme tam s kamarátmi veci za 50 eur, vrátane nejakých papierových utierok, vôni do záchoda, jari, konzeriev, cestovín a ďaľších vecí čo nám aspoň o niečo spríjemnili pobyt. WiFi úplne odveci, 1Mb/rok.. Nič z fotiek NIE je v cene ubytovania. Predražené ceny. Lokalita pri mori super, ale v noci úplne mŕtva.Žiaden nočný život ani mimo kempu. No a aby to nebolo málo, tak na vlastnú kožu som sa uistil, že v kempe je naozaj bezpečno… Zapálil som si s kamarátmi cigaretu na terase, aby sme si vydýchli po otrasnom prvom dni v kempe - prišiel “SBS pracovník”, ktorý zaťukal baterkou mojemu kamarátovi po hlave a neoochotne a nepríjemne naznačil, že nemáme po pol noci čo robiť vonku a vyhrážal sa, že nás za to vyhodí z kempu…..??! Čo ma prekvapilo, tak keď sme odchádzali, nám bolo povedané, že ak izbu neopustíme a DôKLADNE NEUPRACEME do 9 hodiny, dostaneme penále? Všade je štandardný check-out o 10 hodine, kde nemusím riešiť niečo ako či je poustielané a každá smietka na zemi pozametaná... A ani som sa nestačil diviť, a pár minút čo sme ledva vypadli z domu sa tam nasťahovali ďalší turisti. ŽIADNA UPRATOVAČKA!!! Vymenili "vraj" len obliečky... A teraz mi len došlo, že takto to asi muselo byť aj pred nami... Už som predtým býval v mnoho hosteloch, moteloch a pochybných ubytovaniach cez Airbnb apod. Toto nebolo ani „lacné ubytovanie“. Bol to trest. Zločin proti ľudskosti maskovaný ako luxusný mobilný dom za veľmi neférovú ceny. Nikdy viac.
