We spent a week in a tent lodge with our family in early July. Everything went well; the campground is very pleasant... The river and the pool are a real plus, as is the bar and restaurant. The managers are friendly. We loved everything! There are some great places to visit in the area. We recommend it 100%.

I can't choose a rating for a general overview of the place but I give it 4⭐

A very well-maintained campground with beautiful sites. The XL sites are really huge. Very friendly people and the restrooms are always clean. They also organize a lot of activities—the beer tasting was great!!

Average campsite with poor quality LOUD entertainment untill VERY late in the evening. Not friendly for families at all. Stay away if you wish for peace and quiet and want (your kids) to sleep before midnight.
Small pool that closes early. Tight spaces. Not worth the money. Don't see what makes it four stars.

Overall, it’s a nice campground with a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, there are also a few issues that make our vacation considerably less enjoyable.

1. The biggest problem is the heat inside the glamping tents. Inside, the temperature rises to about 40 degrees, and there are no fans. This makes it almost unbearable during the day, and you end up sweating out of bed at night.

2. We’re also having a lot of trouble with ants. They’re not just outside—they’re swarming in and out of the fridge. That’s really annoying. There are more and more of them; our neighbors have already been given a different tent, but unfortunately it’s one bed short. Unfortunately, any measures we’ve taken haven’t helped. We’ll just have to wait and see—our neighbors already had them in their beds and closets too.

3. It’s a shame for the kids that the water slides close in the middle of the day and, on top of that, the pool is only open until 7:00 p.m. Especially on hot days, longer opening hours would be a nice addition.

4. Sun loungers are nice, but it would be helpful if there were also umbrellas available.
Now everyone is crowding under the few small trees, leaving a lot of space unused.

5. Finally, we noticed that many of the pool grates are damaged or broken. This looks neglected and doesn’t match the quality you’d expect from a Sandaya campground.

With a little more attention to maintenance, better cooling in the glamping tents, and a solution for the ants, this campground would be much more pleasant.

A truly beautiful campground in an excellent location—right in the heart of the impressive landscape of the Gorges du Verdon. The staff at the front desk and the service were very friendly and helpful, so we felt welcome right from the start.

The campsites are pleasant, and we also really liked the pool area and the overall atmosphere of the campground. The restroom facilities are fairly basic. They were generally usable, though a bit more cleanliness and upkeep would be desirable in some areas.

We also really liked the restaurant and bar. The freshly prepared pizzas from the charcoal oven were especially delicious. In the evening, the lighting and the mountain backdrop create a beautiful and cozy atmosphere.

You can order baguettes and croissants for the next morning and pick them up later. They also offer breakfast, though we didn’t try it ourselves.

One minor criticism concerns the trash containers: when temperatures are high, an unpleasant odor develops there quickly. A location slightly further away from the lounge and parking area would likely be better.

Overall, we were very satisfied and would recommend the site because of its great location, friendly service, and pleasant atmosphere.
