Warm welcome, helpful staff, beautiful campground, stunning location

All in all, the vacation at TopParken was great. Unfortunately, the fridge was way too small for six people. A bed linen change for 17 euros per person—well, with a rental price of nearly 2,800 euros, a free change once a week should have been included. And please provide guests with a Smart TV—they don’t cost an arm and a leg anymore. Four German channels and the rest Dutch?? That’s just not acceptable. A family Netflix night is really nice 😉

A very nice campground with everything you need. Otherwise, the campground wouldn’t have gotten 5 🌟. A beautiful bike path around the lake at the campground.
We spent a week there to take a vacation with our RV after the Parookaville party. That’s why no 🌟 for the room, but 5 stars for our campsite with electricity, sewage hookup, and enough space for an awning and a car.
Except for the weather that week (the only cool week of summer 2026 🙉🤪)
+ three days without soap in our restroom facility, everything was absolutely great ❗
We’ll definitely be back. 🏖🤗 Hopefully in 2027, when the summer weather is warmer. 😎

A nice campground with spacious sites.
It’s quiet enough in the evening and at night for the little ones to sleep, and there’s more than enough to do during the day.

The service was also top-notch; the radiator in our bathroom was overheating, and within 1.5 hours, it was repaired and the mess from the pressure relief valve was cleaned up.

One area for improvement: we were parked in a very muddy spot. It’s such a shame because the rest of the field was green and had not been used during our stay.

Toller Campingplatz direkt am See. Viele Gäste aus Deutschland und den Niederlanden. Die meisten Plätze sind allerdings nicht für höhere Wohnmobile (3,30m) geeignet aufgrund der vielen Bäume. Entspannte, ruhige Atmosphäre. Saubere gut ausgestattete Sanitäranlagen. Leider waren wir vom Essen im Restaurant nicht so begeistert. Aufgrund der guten Rezensionen hier sind wir dort Essen gegangen. Das selbstgemachte Eis ist sehr empfehlenswert .

Where should I start... At check-in, you have to wait outside until security lets you in. Only one person is allowed in at a time, provided there’s an open counter. But it doesn’t matter that people end up piling up at check-out. That’s about it for security. They couldn’t care less about the quiet hours from midnight to 7:00 a.m. or the 20 km/h speed limit. But it’s not just Croatians or Slovenians who ignore these rules—it’s people from every country. When something does happen, though, there’s a huge outcry. At least I don’t let my little one ride a bike here—it’s too dangerous for me. Teenagers are yelling in the street at 1:00 a.m. and trying to steal chairs from the snack bar—great. E-scooters run people over—also great. The restrooms are cleaned every day—with a hose! But that’s about it. There are swallow nests in the men’s restroom, and it looks like you’d expect. Most of the door locks are broken and have been replaced with bolts. Tiles are cracked, grout is rotted, and the drain grates are either totally rotted or stink.
The cleaning staff sweeps the floor nice and clean, then just sweeps the dirt and trash into the hedge...
At least my son loves the slides by the pool, and my older daughter enjoys watching the fish in the sea as they swim near the shore in the afternoon and evening.
Sun loungers and a beach umbrella by the pool cost money, of course. 4.50 per lounger and 4 € per umbrella. Isn’t €1,087 enough for the site rental?
Oh, and about the site: between our site and the neighbor’s is an electrical box with a broken lock. We have three kids here—ages 9, 4, and 1. I’ve secured it with a strap to keep it closed.

On our roadtrip we stayed here for a night on our way down and another three on the way back because it was simply the nicest camping spot out of all 10 on our trip. The location in the Tuscan hills is so relaxing and beautiful. The owner is super friendly and tries to make any wish possible. The camping spots are all nicely separated under olive trees and levelled. The pool with the bar next to it is clean and has the most romantic sunset view.

Just so you know, there are two routes to get to the camping: from the north or the south. The south route might be a bit longer (depending on where you are coming from) but it is a lot less steep.
