Everything was a struggle. After checking in, we couldn’t get onto the campground. Back to the front desk again. The gate code hadn’t been updated (we’d arrived an hour earlier than planned). They’d forgotten to remove the time lock. When we arrived at the correct campsite, it turned out to be too small for our tent (and littered with a condom). So we asked for a different spot. That was quite a hassle, too. They were only 50% full. Either they can’t see at a glance what’s available, or they’re just slow. Eventually, we chose another spot with electricity. The next day, we couldn’t get into the park again. We thought we were going crazy. Back to the front desk again. We were told that the code had changed because we’d taken a different spot. Apparently, every spot has a different code. Good to know. Then we left very early on Sunday morning and returned after noon. We were actually supposed to leave the campground by 11 a.m. After asking, we were able to check out at 1 p.m. because we still had an activity planned. When we returned to the front desk around 12:30 to return the bike keys, we asked if we could leave the car parked at the campground for a bit because we wanted to have lunch at the beach pavilion there. We weren’t allowed to. The receptionist explained that the extension until 1 p.m. was for the activity, not for lunch. Then I got my 100-euro deposit back in cash for the bikes. I asked if it could be refunded to my debit card since I had paid with one. It was possible, but the money wouldn’t show up in my account for another two weeks. I decided to take the cash anyway. Otherwise, the campground is fine; a small warning about the seagulls would be in order. They’re really very aggressive toward trash bags. You only have to turn your back for a second, and they’ve already torn the bag to shreds and, of course, dragged everything across the field.

We stayed there last weekend and had a wonderful time—the entertainment, in particular, was top-notch. The woman at the information desk was very kind and helpful. We’ll definitely be back.

We were only here for one night. The restrooms were very clean and in good condition. The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the walking directions on Google Maps are a bit misleading; the estimated time from the center of Arcachon to the campground (about 25 minutes) is incorrect, as the route involves a steep climb—and in the evening, it leads along an unlit path! Bus service for 2 euros (valid all day) every hour. Very nice town center. Good starting point for various sights.

Location by Lake Garda, Gardaland and Caneva Aquapark, peaceful, clean and tidy camp. A lot of possibilities to do anything like, walk, cycling, swimming....trips by lake. We have some bad experiences with our car at the arrivals , but staff of the reception were very nice and polite. They really helped us. Thanks again to them. I really recommend it.

The staff at the park are so kind and thoughtful—from the reception desk and maintenance crew all the way up to the owner!! We felt incredibly welcome, and they were a huge help with everything, including fixing our caravan’s flat tire!! They even let us return the bike a little later—they’re the best! A lovely stay, nice and green, clean restroom facilities, and spacious.

Traveled with a caravan

We’ve been to a few campsites, but this one really takes the cake!! What amazing service and incredibly friendly staff—they even knew it was my birthday and gave me a bag full of cute little gifts, and they even came to sing “Happy Birthday” at our chalet. I’ve never experienced anything like it before 👍😘😎 My daughter, her husband, and their daughter came to stay for 3 days; they were allowed to park in front of the chalet, could use all the facilities for free, paid no accommodation fees—just the tourist tax—it was truly fantastic!! The beautiful bike rides and hikes in the area are also highly recommended! All in all, more than worth 5 stars!!

We were just passing through and appreciated the proximity to Sarlat and the peaceful atmosphere, though it’s hard to access for large RVs. The tiles around the pool are too hot to walk on barefoot in the heat... Scorching... For a “Comfort Plus” site, the ground could be more level.... The cleanliness of the restrooms was average....could be better.... Otherwise, they’re comfortable... They didn’t accept my ACSI card.. ☹️. Excessive drink prices 1 50cl beer + 1 25cl beer €13.50... Disappointed 😕 I won’t say any more so as not to be rude.... I wouldn’t recommend it, too bad!!!...

We spent four nights in a bungalow. It was nice and spacious and had everything we needed for four nights. There’s a small shop on the grounds that sells the essentials for a stay. The pool is spacious and there was plenty of room for everyone. This was likely also because the campground wasn’t yet full during the off-season. The beach is also within easy reach. Unfortunately, there’s no shade there. The campground is about 5 minutes from Las Negras. In the small village, you can easily go shopping or grab a bite to eat.
