Dirty, bug-filled rooms

DISGUSTING AND HYPOCRITICAL! Double standards in times of war. Stay far away from here! TopParken - Resort Veluwe is an organization without morals, without empathy and full of lies. We are trapped in a brutal war. Our flights have been canceled and we are in mortal danger under constant rocket attacks. Despite this force majeure, TopParken categorically refuses to refund our money or even move the booking to a later date. Most shocking? While they icily claim to us that "no exceptions" are possible, they respond to other Google reviews with: "We see in your booking that you have received a voucher for a new stay as a courtesy." This is pure malice. They deliberately choose to help other guests, but show TOTALLY NO compassion for people who are under fire and physically unable to travel. They even refuse to offer us a voucher, while they do to others. While we are in shelters, TopParken is lining their pockets with our money without any quid pro quo. This is not hospitality, this is theft under the guise of "policy." A disgrace to the Dutch tourist industry. Never book here!

Poor service and incompetent staff. If you come for a weekend enjoyment you better not go here.

The service was great. They were really communicative via email regarding check-in etc. Also, since I booked early in the season, they even gifted me a bottle of wine! The cabin was comfortable and had all the amenities one would want. The spot is nicely secluded, but you still get a great view of the chateau in Saumur. The town is also a short walk away so it's convenient to go into town for activities, supermarkets, and restaurants.

Beautiful location but the cottages really come up short. Dirty dishes, sagging mattresses, black mold, collapsed couch, chair broken, pans very damaged. Showering max 15 min hot water, then it runs out and takes 4 hours to get hot again. On top of that a power outage because we used 2 burners with cooking + heating was on. Apparently a known problem. On the other hand, friendly staff and the location of the park is central. The cottages are beautiful among the trees, but very close together. They are very noisy, so you hear everyone walking by. And beware: forbidden to swim in the adjacent lake. There is an outdoor pool across the street, open only with nice weather.

Really enjoyed staying in cottage #248! We stayed in a beautiful new cottage that is fully equipped; everything you need is there. It is a wonderful place to unwind in a perfect location. There is also a lot to do in the area. Really highly recommended.

Ho avuto una permanenza di 5 notti in una camera superior in compagnia di un amico. Devo dire di avere apprezzato la "bellezza" della camera in se e della possibilità di un "patio" con sedie e tavolino oltre ad un piccolo spazio verde e annesso posto auto. Sensazione da " mini villetta a schiera" con propria indipendenza. La struttura visto il periodo non presentava ovviamente confusione ma penso sia ottima anche nel periodo estivo e di maggior affluenza. Conclude anche un buon ristorante/pizzeria attiguo alla struttura del villaggio dove abbiamo cenato con buona qualità e varietà di piatti e prezzo. Esperienza ripetibile
