A very nice campground close to the city center with modern restroom facilities and an inviting dining area. I went to the front desk with a few questions about public transportation and was told that there’s a shuttle service to the metro. However, you need a yellow ticket for this, which the lady unfortunately didn’t mention. So I ended up waiting in vain at the stop (right in front of the campground) because I didn’t have the yellow ticket—according to the bus driver, no other payment method was accepted, and the next shuttle wouldn’t have come for hours. Luckily, the walk to the alternative bus route isn’t far...

An excellent campground on the outskirts of Paris. At check-in, they give you great advice on how to get to Paris by public transportation, which, by the way, is very well connected.

The pool is big enough to cool off in. There’s plenty of sports equipment you can borrow and use for free.

Definitely a great choice.

A really lovely campground, located along the river. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I just took off one star because I couldn’t use the dishes—everything was dirty or greasy. I had to wash the few I did use, so I ended up using paper plates and cutlery. But other than that, it’s very quiet and you sleep well there. I recommend it.

A nice, quiet spot, close to the A1, but you can barely hear it.
We had a delicious meal at the pop-up restaurant, and the restrooms were great.
We’ll definitely be back!

Mange spør hvorfor vi alltid ender opp på Porton Nature Hideouts når vi er i Rovinj. Svaret er egentlig ganske enkelt.

For oss handler campingferie om mer enn bare en plass å parkere bobilen. Her har vi en rolig og grønn camping med store plasser, kort vei til krystallklart badevann og en flott strand. Samtidig kan vi gå eller sykle langs sjøen og være i den vakre gamlebyen i Rovinj på kort tid – uten å måtte bruke bilen.

Vi setter også stor pris på den hyggelige atmosfæren, de rene fasilitetene og at campingen er et perfekt utgangspunkt for opplevelser i hele Istria. Herfra har vi enkelt reist til blant annet Vrsar, Limfjorden, Bale og Pula, før vi kan vende tilbake til rolige omgivelser på kvelden.

Det finnes mange gode campingplasser i området, men for oss har Porton Nature den beste kombinasjonen av natur, beliggenhet, ro og nærhet til alt vi ønsker å oppleve. Derfor kommer vi gjerne tilbake – år etter år.

Noen steder føles bare litt mer som et hjem på hjul. 🚐❤️🌊

Kudos to the lifeguards

Very friendly welcome. Campsites offer no privacy (no bushes or hedges), and there aren't enough trees. Sanitary facilities are average.
