Idyllic location, a farmhouse with English elegance. Courteous and helpful staff; fabulous garden and pool. Private beach. Heavenly breakfast. Restaurant serving local cuisine with a modern twist. Delicious! We can’t wait to return!

A week in this very spacious and well-appointed cottage! New bathrooms with a wheelchair-accessible shower, a steep dirt path leading up to it, and a magnificent pool. Beautiful surroundings in Cathar country. Just a heads-up: the walls are thin, so you need to be quiet by 10:00 p.m. because you can hear everything. See you soon!

A lovely vacation park with a beautiful pool and plenty to do, located practically right next to Borger. Great cycling opportunities. The maintenance and cleanliness of the cottage could have been a bit better, but the furnishings were okay.

A beautiful place... the campground is really nice... trapper tents by the lake... you can hear the birds... We had a magical time there.

Outdated restroom facilities, poor paths, and an extremely noisy campsite. On top of that, it's expensive. I wouldn't recommend it.

A nice campground with plenty of spots for RVs and tents. The restroom facilities are okay. There’s a nice market on the grounds. They’ll help you with check-in or booking activities. There’s a bus stop right in front of the campground, providing good access to downtown. To get to the beach, just cross the street and rent a lounge chair in advance at the front desk—and with a little luck, you might even spot some dolphins.

We rented a mobile home at this campground for 2 adults and 2 children in August 2025 for 7 days. The campground is located in the middle of the forest, and the road leading there zigzags!! A road runs through the campground, which isn’t very safe, especially since cars drive fast. The campground is clean and quiet. We arrived on a Saturday evening at the reception desk, where we reserved bread for the next morning, paid a €60 security deposit (which is normally refunded upon departure), and rented a baby kit for €15, including a travel crib and high chair. As for the rest, there were only Dutch people at the front desk, working as activity leaders and servers, and the majority of campers were Dutch as well. The amenities included a mini-grocery store where there’s practically nothing and where everything is very expensive—we were forced to do our shopping outside the campground in the village of Gluiras, a 15-minute drive away. There’s a snack bar, a mini-market, and a restaurant—which closes at 7:30 p.m.—what a joke. Adult pool and unheated pools for younger children, laundry facilities, a ping-pong table, and a small playground. Note: no evening entertainment!!! Then there was a lake advertised—I’d call it more of a wild river!! Note: there’s no drinking water in the mobile home—bring your own bottled water. On Wednesday, four days later, we ran out of gas. We had to ask someone at the campground to change the gas cylinder for us. When we left on Saturday morning (the day before), we cleaned everything, sweeping every nook and cranny and the entire patio—leaving it even cleaner than when we arrived. We returned the keys. It’s important to note that no inventory check was conducted upon arrival or departure. I sent an email a few weeks later to ask about the status of my security deposit refund, and I was told that there would be no refund and that the sum of 60€ had been withheld to cover cleaning fees. The contract clearly states that the security deposit is refunded upon departure, but it makes no mention of cleaning fees. A €60 cleaning fee? I’ve never heard of such a thing—what a joke. It’s outrageous—they’ll see us once, but not twice!!! It’s listed as a 5-star campground, but I’d say it’s more like a 3-star campground. If you’re not Dutch, my advice is to give this place a pass and rent somewhere else.
