Super fun play farm. Also great for having your kids party. Always love going there.

We visited this campsite in December, so not everything was open, which we expected. The campsite is easily accessible, you hear very little from the nearby highway. Valkenburg can be reached by car, bike or on foot and there are plenty of things to do. The pitches are well laid out and tidy, although at this time of year they were a bit muddy due to the weather. The only drawback was that the family pool with children's tub is unfortunately closed in winter, as it was not directly in the sanitary building, but accessible from the outside and therefore not open due to frost. However, the sanitary buildings themselves were well maintained and clean. We'd love to come back, but next time we'd like it to be warmer.

We had a wonderful weekend at Essenburglodge 236! A super cozy and cozy cottage, fully equipped. There is even a hot tub and a sauna, which we enjoyed. Definitely recommended for a weekend getaway!

Cottage 4.28 is a lovely place to stay. It is quietly situated under the trees, so you immediately experience a relaxed atmosphere as soon as you arrive. The private parking right outside the door is incredibly convenient, especially when loading and unloading. Inside, the cottage is surprisingly spacious and fully equipped. The kitchen is pleasantly equipped and invites you to cook for yourself. The two rain showers are really a luxurious addition and make the stay extra comfortable. The area around the cottage is wonderfully quiet. You can take a nice walk through the park and enjoy nature. Extra special is the view: you have a beautiful view over a meadow with sheep and horses, and from here you can also see the sunset, a perfect end to the day. The on-site store is also very handy for small groceries or something tasty in between. Also nice: there are charging stations at the park, so you can easily charge your car during your stay.

Good location, affordable

The Valamar Istra Premium Camping Resort is situated in an idyllic location on a hill that borders the sea like a peninsula. If you are looking for both relaxation and entertainment, you will find what you are looking for at this resort. Due to the shape of the hill, the pitches and mobile homes are built on a slight slope, which is why the view from most of the mobile homes and pitches is absolute. There are also plenty of trees and shrubs to provide shade. The heart of the resort is located at the top of the hill where there are small stores (mini market, bakery, fishmonger, etc.), a piazza with an evening program and the pool facilities and slides. There are also four restaurants on the island with a different focus (pizza, pasta, buffet, street food or fish). The mobile homes vary slightly in size and facilities depending on the type, but are all equipped with crockery, cutlery, coffee machine, etc. A particular highlight is the dishwasher, which eliminates the hassle of washing up, and the Liebherr fridge with freezer compartment, which allows you to store ice or ice cubes. We were initially skeptical about the artificial grass on the beach area and in the relaxation zone of the pool area, but quickly realized that it is actually an absolute highlight, as it is permeable to water, super hygienic and very well maintained and clean. Especially perfect for children's feet or towels on the floor. Those traveling with children will especially appreciate the Maro Club, where childcare is offered. Another absolute highlight for the kids was the gaming zone with PS5, X-Box and Nintendo Switch as well as many different games. There are also several playgrounds in the outdoor area, which also keep the children entertained. The paths at the Mibilheims are all paved and are therefore perfect for scooters or hoover boards. Those who like to stay online will also enjoy the Wi-Fi (which is available from the beach, pool facilities and mobile homes). If you look at the sustainability of your vacation, you will see that, on the one hand, a large photovoltaic system supplies guests, pools etc. with electricity, and on the other hand, great importance is attached to recycling when disposing of waste. The Valamar staff were very friendly, motivated and helpful. All in all, an absolutely great resort that I can highly recommend.

I did spend several days at Fuussekaul campsite, which has different types of accommodation for guests with different needs. The campsite caters to all kinds of campers, no matter what their budget. The campsite has something for everyone, whether you prefer the simplicity of traditional camping or the comforts of a cozy cabin. You can put your tent in one of the big camping areas. These have electric hookups and modern toilets. Or, for a stress-free camping experience, rent one of the fully-equipped tents or cabins. Fuussekaul has something for everyone, from basic tents to luxury lodges. Things to do: 1) Have fun exploring the campsite! 2) The wellness center provides spa treatments, saunas, and an indoor swimming pool for people who want to relax. 3) There's a kids' club and playground for the little ones, and adults can play mini-golf, tennis, and cycle. 4) There are lots of activities at Camping Fuussekaul that will be fun for people who like being outside. The area's countryside is great for hiking and exploring nature. Take a guided hike through the Ardennes region, or rent a bike and cycle along pretty routes. The campsite is close to the borders of Luxembourg, Belgium, and Germany, so you can easily go on day trips and cultural excursions. 5) The campsite hosts social events such as barbecues, live music performances, and themed evenings regularly, which helps campers bond with each other. 6) The campsite has restaurants and bars where you can enjoy tasty meals, relax with a drink or just have fun with friends. The supermarket on-site (also at the near petrol station) makes it easy for campers to get groceries and other supplies (if you decide to go wander, try Auberge Fuussekaul). Beautiful domain. Quite pricey. Very friendly staff.

We had a fantastic stay. Everything was really perfect. the check-in via email, everything was very clear, the location of the parking, where and how to find our breakfast, how we got inside our lodge, the operation of the sauna , the fireplace the jacuzzi, everything just perfect. Everything worked as it should, and the combination of luxury and tranquility made it complete. From the moment we entered we immediately felt at ease. We especially noticed the wonderful smell in the room: so pleasant and soothing. I had forgotten to take a picture of the fragrance sticks, sent an email about it and immediately received the link. In short: for us it was a top stay that we recommend to anyone who wants to get away from it all. We will definitely come back. A tip! Definitely keep up the good work.
