Mouhais: Meh. Right next to a particularly noisy road. Not much to look at. For a 4-star hotel, it only deserves 3 stars. Honestly, I've stayed in better places. Luckily, the staff is friendly.

Back home since Friday—what a relief!
The park is seriously outdated!!
The cafeteria and takeout place were a disaster—filthy and run-down, and only open two days during peak season. Due to “staff shortages.”
Not a soul in sight at the park.
The pool is also severely outdated; the bottom is dirty and filthy. There were 8 chairs to sit on, which was actually enough since there were at most 15 people in the cold water.
My little daughter had a choice of 2 swings and 2 sandboxes—but they were empty of sand and filled with weeds instead.
So I reported my dissatisfaction with the park at the front desk, and they told me, “If you’d mentioned this upon arrival, we could have rebooked you to Hunzepad in Borger.”
That’s actually a great vacation park, by the way—we were allowed to swim there for free 😂.
That’s when I really felt ripped off.
A nice cafeteria, a nice lunchroom, beautiful terraces, trampolines, slides, and people!!
So please don’t book at Hunepark—book Hunzepad instead.
I’m 1,000 euros poorer for the week, but I did get a 50-euro gift certificate for my next vacation with my little daughter…
They should be absolutely ashamed—no more Landal for us; we’ll just stick with Capefun like in previous years.

It’s just horribly LOUD at night, well past 4 a.m.!

No effort is made at all to enforce quiet hours at night. The beach is full of teenagers partying and being VERY loud without any restrictions.
Tonight there were even unauthorized fireworks, which woke up and made children in the immediate vicinity cry.

W-H-Y would a campground allow this kind of behavior?

Très mauvaise expérience dans ce camping première semaine on nous a logé dans un mobil-home juste à côté d'une usine à bois qui fabrique des palettes de 8h à 20h vidéo à l'appui 5 jours après on nous a relogé dans un nouveau mobil-home un peu plus loin qui était sale et très abîmé photos à l'appui aussi vu le prix de la prestation nous sommes déçus de nos vacances que nous attendions avec impatience camping à fuir très beau d'apparence les piscines son plein d'herbe et les gens se baignent avec leur caleçon et shorts de bain plus t-shirt pas top du tout la direction est incorrecte même pas un bonjour camping vraiment a fuir

We had a wonderful vacation at Altomincio Village. You can’t reach the cottages by car, but there are golf carts that drive around and drop guests off at their cottages with their luggage from the parking lot/reception area.

We had booked the Easy Stay cottage and were right in the middle of the park—ideal. The cottages are fully equipped with all the amenities: two small bedrooms with twin beds, one small bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower and sink, a separate toilet, and a small kitchen and sitting area. There are also many playgrounds scattered throughout the park.

Our bedroom was really too small for us to move around in; I could barely walk past the bed and was practically pressed up against the wall. On top of that, the mattresses were very hard. It gave me back pain. Next time we’ll upgrade; hopefully this issue will be resolved by then. There was also very little closet space. Since there were four of us in the cottage, we ended up putting our bags on the beds, but it wouldn’t have all fit in the closet anyway.

There’s a decent set of towels in each closet upon arrival, with one large and one small towel per person. There are also several bars of hand soap, a small bottle of dish soap, a scouring pad, and a small sand-colored cloth that’s supposed to be a dish towel. The latter doesn’t work very well, so I’d recommend bringing your own dishcloth. There are also bottles of body wash in the shower stall. There were no herbs and no filter coffee or filters for the coffee maker.

The shower wasn’t working properly for us, so we used the QR code on the information board at the dining table, and the issue was resolved the very same day. The restaurant staff is friendly, and the entertainment team is great with kids of all nationalities.

The park itself has its own supermarket, which is a bit pricey—but then again, isn’t that the case at every campground? Here you can buy fresh bread, such as freshly baked rolls and croissants. Sandwich fillings, drinks, alcoholic beverages, candy, and household products. No evening meals or anything like that, but they do have meat for the BBQ.

There are several eateries for snacks and evening meals, as well as a bar. A candy store. An ice cream vendor. A game room. Bike and go-kart rentals. A small shop with swimming-related products, souvenirs, etc. An information desk. A stage.

The pools were fun—no big slides, but three smaller ones—and plenty to do for young and older kids in the pool. The water was still very cold (late April, early May). You do get used to it eventually.

The location is also nice—just off the hustle and bustle of Lake Garda—and the campground isn’t too hilly, so you don’t have to climb a mountain to get to your cabin or other accommodations.
