We spent some wonderful days at this gorgeous glamping site, nestled in nature among centuries-old olive trees, just a short walk from a crystal-clear beach and the town center, where you can feel an atmosphere of great warmth, friendliness, and genuine hospitality.
Filippo is an attentive and helpful host who’s always ready to make guests feel at home. The glamping site perfectly reflects his personality and the passion with which he brought this beautiful project to life, with attention to every detail. We can only congratulate him and wish him all the best for the future. We’ll definitely be back… See you next time!

We spent a week at the campground, and unfortunately, it didn’t feel like a vacation to us.

We chose this campground because of the pools, since our little one, who’s just under 2 years old, really loves to swim. Unfortunately, he lost his love for swimming during this vacation. The water temperature in all the pools was so cold that after just 2 minutes, our little one was freezing and shivering so badly that he refused to go back in. The Valamar Lanterna website advertises 10 heated pools. However, that’s a complete lie. According to the front desk, the pools are only heated during the early season. Which is basically fine. But apparently, cold water is constantly being added, so the temperature stays at 22 degrees.
For a toddler, though, a water temperature of 22 degrees is too low. According to the front desk, the water isn’t allowed to exceed 25 degrees either. Incidentally, this isn’t mentioned anywhere. We also have a direct comparison with Valamar Camping Krk, which we visited afterward. There, the water temperature was very pleasant every day.

This campground is therefore not bookable with a toddler!!!

What really annoys me is the hypocritical customer service. You’re bombarded with concierge service offers in the app. They ask for feedback after just one day of your stay, and that’s it. But if you have a problem (see the pool), the manager is unreachable and you’re brushed off. There’s also absolutely no information about the “park” upon arrival. You have to ask for everything yourself. For example, there’s a taxi boat to Novigrad. Unfortunately, we hadn’t been told that it had to be reserved, so we couldn’t use it because it was already booked for the entire week.

Guests ride e-scooters all over the grounds—mostly at speeds that exceed the limit. We found ourselves in dangerous situations several times. With a toddler, it’s nearly impossible to walk across the campground holding their hand without worrying about being hit. Even on the waterfront promenade, which is very narrow, people ride e-scooters and bicycles. Other Valamar Group campgrounds manage to use their app to remind guests to ride carefully and considerately. There’s also a campground policy prohibiting children from riding motorized scooters. But nobody seems to care.

At check-in, you’re given trash bags for recycling, which is really great. But nobody follows the rules. Cans, in particular, all end up in the general waste, even though there’s a deposit system. Unfortunately, there’s nowhere to return the deposit bottles. In the afternoons, the trash cans by the pools and on the beach are also overflowing.
There are also signs everywhere telling people to conserve water. Unfortunately, our washhouse was completely flooded from top to bottom several times a day. I can’t figure out what that has to do with conserving water, nor do I understand the supposed cleaning technique behind this procedure. It doesn’t make the showers or toilets any cleaner. Personally, I also find it very unpleasant and disgusting to have to sit on a wet toilet seat.

The value for money isn’t right for me. They charge an unbelievable amount of money for everything—something I’ve never experienced at any other campground before. Furthermore, there are no noteworthy amenities that justify these prices.

We’re never coming back!!!

We spent 15 days at Ludo Camping in Lussas. Our Mobilhome for 6 people was spacious, clean, air-conditioned, and well-equipped (though it lacked some dishes) on a spacious and pleasant site. The staff, including the two dynamic and cheerful activity leaders, Clemence and Jade, were very welcoming. The pool area is decent, though there’s no shade and it’s not very appealing.
The big downside is the bar/restaurant area! No lunch service—everything is by reservation only (burgers, pizzas, etc.)—and it’s very difficult to actually eat there?! By 7 p.m., they’re “full” even though the evening is just getting started… no room for last-minute guests?! Service is slow and a bit disorganized, even though the waitstaff are very friendly… It’s a real shame, especially since the only payment method is cashless… which we found very restrictive. But the little we were able to eat there was good.
The campground is well-located, 30 minutes from some beautiful spots, and the region is pleasant.

An overpriced campground—the offerings are surprising. The setting is idyllic, but the facilities don't live up to the standard of service. They're making an effort, but there's still work to be done...

A quiet park, though you can hear some noise from the construction work in the morning. Little to no information about the entertainment program. We were greeted warmly at the front desk, but there were no signs in the park. There were a lot of flies... about 10–15 in the accommodation every day.

A quiet, wooded campground not far from a beautiful beach accessible via a trail. Perfect if you’re looking for simplicity and nature.
The pool is nice and heated.
The mobile home is decent but showing its age and lacks privacy.
The food truck is a nice touch, but a bar would really liven up the campground, especially a four-star one.
The plus: the location and the setting

Sometimes you’re looking for a place where you can completely escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. For us, Resort Arcen was exactly that oasis of tranquility, seamlessly combined with the perfect dose of entertainment. From the warm welcome at the front desk to the (far too early) moment of check-out, our stay was a series of highlights.
In addition to the standard amenities, it’s the little details that set this resort apart from the rest.

The fun and entertainment program is fantastic, tailored for different age groups and seamlessly flowing from one activity to the next.

The only minor issue we noticed was that, despite the central heating, the luxury cottages still took a while to warm up.
But thanks to all the activities, the kids still fell asleep like logs.

The small beach is perfectly equipped with lounge chairs.

A great campground near Vannes. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and always accommodating. The campground is clean, pleasant, and very welcoming. Thank you to the entire staff for your hospitality—we had a wonderful stay!
