A beautiful campground, located right on the Drôme River. A charming village, a nice market, plenty of opportunities for (electric) biking, and beautiful (though challenging) hiking trails.

We stayed at the campground for a total of 6 nights, and for about 35 euros per night, I’d definitely recommend this campsite—by the way, parking in town costs just as much per day in the short-term parking zone in that charming little village… The village is also easily accessible and has plenty of restaurants.

The water park, with its many small pools, is very nice, and people spread out well throughout it—it’s a nice change of pace—the kids really enjoyed it—as far as I could tell, lounge chairs by the pool were included. The beach was very crowded during our stay, so we drove away a few times—after all, Krk has plenty of secluded swimming coves to offer.

Unfortunately, the campsites are just as sparse and basic as at Aminess Avalona. Somehow, we prefer older campgrounds with lush vegetation more…. But that’s a matter of taste!

The restrooms were generally clean enough—though I don’t understand why background music has to be played here until the early hours of the morning—that would really bother me if I were in a tent at the standard campsites. Attention should be paid to the condition (broken showerhead mount, etc.) of individual showers—we had to switch shower stalls a few times—but there were always enough stalls available, even though the campground was very busy.

The resort is kept clean and tidy. The public restrooms, however, are a disaster—disgusting.
There are very few trees providing shade on the beach, so be sure to bring a beach umbrella.

It takes a bit of searching to find sights, but there are plenty. Autun and Luzy are beautiful towns. What stood out was that the towns are clean. We will definitely return to this place. We had a lovely weekend—we had a great time at the pool, and the accommodations were impeccable! It’s a very peaceful place. I highly recommend it!! The bathrooms are clean and spacious. We can’t wait to come back 😊
