Very, very nice, clean, and well-maintained!

We had a wonderful vacation in Enkhuizen this summer. It’s a beautiful region. The complex where our accommodation was located was still partly under construction, but that didn’t really bother us. The park will be truly beautiful once it’s finally completed. The house was very nice and modernly furnished. Unfortunately, the bed linens were very worn and had yellow and brown stains; they’d been cleaned only very superficially. The great terrace, with plenty of seating for dining or relaxing, was very dirty and full of cobwebs—we had to grab a broom and vacuum cleaner right away. Despite these minor issues, it was a successful vacation, and I’d recommend the park… maybe this bit of criticism will make a difference, and they’ll pay a little more attention to cleanliness.

A charming campground in a great location, but it’s more deserving of 3 stars than 4.
The highlights: the campground is just a few minutes’ walk from a beautiful beach, perfect for relaxing and swimming. Greenways and hiking trails, particularly the GR34, are easily accessible. The pool is clean and pleasant, and the kids really enjoyed the water slides.
On the other hand, the mobile homes, while clean, are a bit dated and quite close together. I understand that the campground was recently purchased and that renovations are underway. This is a good sign for the future, but right now the construction is very visible and detracts a bit from the setting. The reception area is also rather dreary.
On the other hand, the staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive.
All in all, I recommend this campground for its location and its staff, but as things stand now, I’d rate it more as a solid 3-star than a true 4-star.

This is the third year we’ve stayed at this campground. In previous years, the restrooms were already dilapidated and not worthy
of a 3-star rating, but this year
it was a disaster— The showers were scalding hot and couldn’t be adjusted, especially during the heat wave (stay from July 6–10, 2026)
No amenities, no snack bar, no entertainment, the water park was out of service, and we paid an extra €11 for the same number of nights—go figure.
I’m not sure we’ll be coming back to this campground next year.

Doskonałe miejsce dla rodzin z dziećmi.
Fantastyczna miejscówka na bazę wypadową po okolicy.

Pohvalila bi prijetni animatorki Ivo in Emo, ki sta simpatično vodili otroške aktivnosti ob dnevu kampa, le lokacija, glede na vročino, ni bila ravno posrečena. Bolje bi bilo dve uri aktivnosti organizirati kje v senci, ki je v kampu ne manjka.
Sicer, kot vedno, odlične izkušnje.
Edina slaba le ob odjavi.
Nič kaj prijazna gospa Marina, pri kateri sem bila na recepciji kampa v času odjave edina stranka, brez nikakršne gneče, a kljub temu je varnostniku, ki je prišel po pomoč zaradi izgubljenega malčka ob recepciji, neprijazno odvrnila, da zdaj nima časa za iskanje staršev.
Vse razumem, če je gneča, nepregledne trume turistov...a ne pred mano, ne za mano, ni bilo na njenem odjavnem mestu nikogar...pa tudi če bi jih bilo 100, a ni izgubljeni otrok in iskanje staršev v taki situaciji prioriteta???
Kaj, če bi bil to vaš otrok, gospa Marina?
Vsi imamo kdaj slab dan, vsi, ki delamo z ljudmi, naletimo na take in drugačne stresne situacije, a kljub temu moramo ostati Ljudje!

Who runs the campground here?

Hello, this is definitely the first time I’ve come across a campground of this quality…

Pool:
The water is murky.
Only 5 or 6 umbrellas for the entire pool area.
There are no rules enforced here—swim shorts and balls are supposedly prohibited, which in reality isn’t the case (not a big deal for me) but might be for others.

Accommodations:
The furniture is decent for its era, but there’s no inventory check here… I was surprised to find the place in this condition when I checked in (it hadn’t been cleaned)—I’ll let you imagine what it’ll look like at the end of August if no inventory check is done!

Bathrooms:
Had to go all the way to the back of the campground to find cold showers…
To my left, bathrooms that I assume have been abandoned for a long time; to my right, scalding hot showers…
At the bottom of the campground, the bathrooms are decent but could use a refresh.
Sink with no soap.

Restaurant:
A DISASTER
I’ve never seen such a long WAIT (outside of peak hours); the quality of service needs to be addressed.
Dirty patio.
A nightmarish mussels-and-fries evening—lots of complaints.
The restaurant manager was nowhere to be found???

Parking:
No nighttime gate; here, you can drive through the campground in the middle of the night.

On the plus side:
The entertainment, the housekeeping, and the sunshine.

Madam Director, could you please take responsibility and contact me not in writing but by phone so we can discuss the various issues present here.
This campground has a lot of issues that need to be addressed, and I’m far from the only one who’s noticed this.

I paid about €2,000 for a week’s stay with my daughter and, to be honest
, I had expected much more from it.

The cottage felt dark and cheap.
Virtually the entire house consists of untreated or
unplaned wood and exposed particleboard.
Because of this, we had to be very careful of
splinters, which is anything but pleasant with a young child.

The comfort was also disappointing. There were no comfortable chairs or lounge chairs with cushions to relax on. Outside, there’s once again a wooden picnic table and two hard, uncomfortable wooden chairs.

Hygiene left much to be desired. It wasn’t very clean inside. There were lots of cobwebs on the porch, and every night I heard many mice scurrying across the roof.

For a vacation park that focuses so heavily
on families, I also found the entertainment program
to be very limited. A daily mini-disco—say, half an hour long—would be a fun addition for many young children.

The highlights for me were the pool and the restaurant. Unfortunately, those didn’t make up for the quality of the accommodations, especially considering the price I paid for this week.
