I can't sleep because there's noise at the campground until 3 a.m.!!!! It's 1 a.m. now and they're still yelling! Please provide security at the campground!!!

Of course, there’s the beach club in Vsar that goes on all night long, and that keeps you up too.

If you want a good night’s sleep, I don’t recommend this campground!!

We came back here in September 2025, but this time we stayed in a chalet. Number 70 with a little pool right outside the door—really nice. But the sliding door was broken and kept falling off. As it happened, there was someone from maintenance there who reported it, and it got fixed... Or so we thought. Nope—the door fell off again. Someone came by again and fixed it… For 5 minutes. Then a few neighbors and I fixed the door, but that only lasted an hour because it had fallen off again. So we put it back on ourselves. We reported again that it was still broken and were told they’d look into it or let us switch to another chalet. We went to dinner, so we don’t know if anyone came by. After dinner, the door was off again, so we decided to move to another chalet across the way. There, the outdoor light wasn’t working, so we fixed that ourselves too.

The next day: we went out to dinner and saw people in their 70s sitting there! I thought, “No way, right? They can’t be that stupid, can they?”

We came back, and sure enough, the door was off, and they were in the middle of moving everything over to another chalet! The door’s still open right now because you can’t get it shut!

Also, some of the porches or little steps are rotten, and you can fall right through them! Just plain dangerous!

All in all, the little pools right outside the door are lovely, but the maintenance is long overdue! Nothing’s being done about the old cottages—they’re just waiting until they’re about to collapse so they can tear them down and build new ones, allowing them to raise the prices again!

In late 2026, we took a different chalet on the other side of the campground. First of all, no bedding or towels… Do you have to pay extra for those??? What???😂 The power strip in the kitchenette is also broken, and the light doesn’t work

. The noise from the sewage system at night again, but that water heater or water pressure keeps kicking in every few minutes while everyone’s in bed, making a racket—I can’t sleep because of it. The fridge is buzzing so loudly right next to my bedroom door, and it’s not cooling properly. This is the last time I’m coming here!!! We should’ve just stayed in Italy.

The campground itself is great, and the facilities are great, too.
What’s really annoying—and something the campground clearly doesn’t care about at all—are the tent camps or drinking parties that form on the campground. Large groups gather there to drink all day, take over entire playgrounds, and party late into the night. The operators clearly don’t care at all, but for everyone else, it’s just disruptive and annoying.

Come with your eyes closed—it’s an incredible, peaceful, and welcoming place, perfect for reconnecting with nature. There are several activities on the property (mountain biking, pedal boats, pétanque, private rowboat, stand-up paddleboarding) that we were all able to try at low, very affordable rates—not to mention the magnificent lagoon-style pool. We spent a night in the Harvey campervan that I’d booked for my partner’s birthday, and he was thrilled—it was a wonderful surprise gift idea. the minivan is very well laid out, and the terrace makes you want to stay—it was really pleasant. The staff was top-notch, providing clear and detailed explanations with a smile.
Breakfast is included, and we were very surprised by everything—it was excellent!
We weren’t able to say goodbye to you, but we’ll be happy to come back—and with the kids this time 😁

Vacation Ruined by a Noisy Party on August 14

Our stay at the Les Prés du Verdon campground could have been very pleasant, but the night of August 14–15, 2026, was a real ordeal. A restaurant adjacent to the campground hosted a private party with excessively loud music, which could be heard throughout the entire village.

As a result, it was completely impossible to sleep before 2:00 a.m. The most frustrating part was the general helplessness in the face of the situation; no one was able to intervene to ensure the campers could get some sleep. It’s a shame that such a lack of management regarding nighttime disturbances ruined the experience.

Brilliant for families

A good, pleasant campground. Most amenities are available on-site: a restaurant, a small shop, etc. Some of the restrooms are newer, while others are older. Overall, they’re fine and reasonably clean.
