We initially booked a spot in the “Free Zone” (if we’d known what kind of zone that was, we never would have booked it—they’re turning a forest into a money-making scheme, and the way they run things there is absolutely unacceptable). We got lucky and were able to upgrade to the next higher category.According to the staff, there were only two spots left during the time we’d booked. But the entire time we were there, the larger spot—and others that would have been a better fit size-wise—remained vacant (it really feels like they’re making a fool of us).We absolutely do not like this campground and would never come back here. You’re practically run over here by cyclists and especially by e-scooter riders. It’s really bad, and no one shows any consideration—we’ve never experienced anything like this before. The campground is run by Danes and Dutch people (who absolutely do not observe quiet hours), and everyone behaves accordingly. Dog Beach 2 is the only positive thing, but this place is definitely not worth 900 euros for 10 days.

Veey big camp with many options to stay (camping houses, camping spots). Lots of activities to do, especially for kids (minidisco, sports - tennis, volleyball, minigolf, calcetto, billiard,...). Sand beach and many rocky beaches. Terrain is by far not flat. Food and drinks a bit expensive, but groceries are not far away from camp. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our camping house was small but had a nice terrace and basically all we needed. One sun blinder and shower was not repaired by the staff even though we alerted the reception. Nights were quiet and the cleaningness of homes and whole area was perfect. There were several trips available to nearby towns like Porec, Novigrad etc.

Jeśli można by voś poprawić to jednsk.osoby ktore rezerwują z rocznym wyprzedzenie.

A beautiful Huttopia-style campground. The layout is perfect for letting kids run wild: apart from cars driving slowly, there’s no danger. Three swimming pools, ranging from a wading pool to a large one perfect for soaking up the sun. Most of the tent and RV sites are nicely shaded under the trees. Bikes are available for rent at a reasonable price, and the island is perfect for cycling.

Prachtige camping in Huttopia stijl.

We had a chalet, No. 59, right on the water with a beautiful view. The chalets are quite close together, though, and some of them aren’t in the best locations.
The chalet overlooked a small harbor on both sides, and in front of us was the path lined with tall trees leading to the two tiny houses. The path was charmingly lit by a string of lights. Very nice and definitely gave us that vacation feeling! The patio was very spacious. We’d opted for lounge chairs, and even then we still had plenty of room left for the dining table. The interior of the chalet was also great!!!
A cozy sitting area, plenty of space in the kitchen, both bedrooms were spacious, and the bathroom looked great and was roomy too. Personally, I think it’s a shame that the toilet is in the bathroom and there isn’t a separate toilet. But it was perfectly manageable.
The sliding door to the bedroom was really nice!!! One downside was the smelly vacuum cleaner. The cabinet it was stored in smelled really bad! Also, the dishes were wet or not completely clean. On the first day, I ran the cutlery and dishes through the dishwasher—luckily there was one there—and that solved the problem.
The information we received regarding the gate and license plate recognition varied among the staff. According to the app and the staff member upon arrival, the gate operates via license plate recognition. That is, until after the weekend when we couldn’t get back into the park and were asked in the lobby if I’d received a pass. Because we needed a pass! Once we had the pass, we were able to get back to the car—problem solved again. On hot days, you can rent an air conditioner, which is a really nice extra. If we’d stayed longer, we definitely would have rented one.
All the staff are welcoming and friendly. We really had a wonderful week at this small-scale park.

A beautiful campground surrounded by nature, with spacious and clean accommodations on a spacious site, and well-maintained facilities. There was quite a bit of noise in the evenings (during peak season), but I didn’t find that to be a drawback or a problem, and it certainly wasn’t really loud. I’d definitely recommend it.

    A nice, cozy campground.
I don’t know what other people are complaining about, but it’s quiet in the evenings. If there’s an organized event, it ends at 10:30 p.m. No disturbances, no noise.
The spray park is great. The lifeguards are great, and there are always plenty of them on duty. Rules are there to be followed and apply equally to everyone. Great.
    Nice, large playground.
Some people are better off not staying at a campground and just spending their vacation in their own backyard. That way, you don’t have to deal with loudmouths, kids playing (including their own grandkids), neighbors chatting, ...

    Leuke gezellige camping.
Spraypark is top.

Mom traveled with two teenage boys, ages 13.
I don’t know where to start.
First, the positives. The Saône River is nearby. The campground is quiet, well-equipped, clean, reasonably well-maintained, with spacious sites, and some of the staff are quite friendly.
Unfortunately, I was really disappointed by a number of issues that significantly lowered my rating.
    • “The pool”: Campers are allowed access (once a day), but only from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. But anyone who wants to is welcome, since it’s a municipal pool. It was overrun by way too many kids from summer camps, whether or not they were staying at the campground. They arrived in waves of 50 kids. Great, everyone’s in the water. But “La Piscine” isn’t the campground’s pool—it’s important to know that. Too bad there aren’t any time slots reserved just for campers.
    • My accommodations. The “Sweety” was nice. Not very big, but big enough for three people to sleep in. Everything you need for eating, cooking, etc., is provided. The windows are sealed shut—at least the large ones—which doesn’t allow for good air circulation. The blinds on those large windows are made of an old plastic material that burns and traps an awful amount of heat.
The block used to prop the front door open was broken. I had to improvise to keep it open so some air could get in. The wooden picnic table is extremely warped. Eating on one side is a pain—if not impossible. And it would be nice to put a privacy curtain back up on the parents’ sleeping side. Finally, the gazebo, or roof overhang…So yes, there were some very severe storms with terrible gusts of wind—I fully understand that. It happened twice, in fact, and both times the gazebo came loose. The second time, the poles—which weren’t properly secured in their mounts—gave way. The campground technicians (who were very nice, but that’s not the whole story) flat-out decided not to put it back up, pulling the pole bases out of the ground and admitting that they came out way too easily. So we spent all of Friday and all of Saturday without a gazebo, because they were busy with another project. No shade all morning. Mornings when, incidentally, I was inevitably woken up by construction work being done on a nearby unit.

So, everyone, here’s our impression: The reception staff speaks English very well. At first, we were disappointed that we didn’t have a front-row spot. We booked six months in advance. The campground makes a solid impression. The washhouse was clean. If you look up, the cobwebs could definitely use a good cleaning. The two goats were very cute. What I noticed at our campsite: People were peeing in the bushes, and the dogs were running around freely. I also noticed that whenever someone checked out, a staff member would come by to check the site. Great. We love the ocean, which was safe thanks to the lifeguards. We didn’t use the pool. The opportunities to explore the area by bike are also great. We’d love to come back, but only if we can get a spot in the front row. Oh, and the pizza place across the street serves delicious food.
