We're back again this year!!!
Last year, our family and our pet stayed at Neri.
And it was wonderful—in fact, I posted some photos along with the review.
This year, I’d like to highlight the great work of the staff, especially Judith—whom we met last year—and Andrea, who works at the restaurant and the poolside kiosk.
They’re wonderful, and in our case—with a daughter who has a disability—I can’t find the words to thank them enough for how much fun my daughter had, and my son, who once again came back in tears, hehehe.😂

This is our third year coming here (two years through Kustpark Strand Westende) and now our first year through Compass Camping Westende. We’re still very satisfied with the campground itself—it’s quiet and clean, just like in previous years!! What did disappoint us upon arrival, however, was the dirty condition of our comfort lodge! We found food scraps on the floor, on the baseboards, and on the radiator left behind by the previous guests! The toilet had a strong urine odor, and in both the toilet and the bathroom, our feet stuck to the floor!!! Out of sheer frustration, I ended up mopping the floor myself on the day we arrived and had to change the water four times because it was literally black 🤢🤮. I think that for a mandatory cleaning fee of 70 euros per booking, it really should be spotless!!!! You could really tell it hadn’t been cleaned properly in a while! Such a shame, because this wasn’t cheap!

The rest of the team, however, left something to be desired…

We spent a week in a mobile home. The amenities are functional, even if they’re clearly showing their age, but that wasn’t a problem for us.
As for the overall amenities, there’s clearly room for improvement. In our experience, parking spaces for mobile home renters were far too limited; anyone arriving a little later has to park at the other end of the site—if there’s even a spot left at all.
The pool seemed clearly too small for the size of the resort. We didn’t notice any rules being enforced during our stay: it felt like 30 water polo games were going on at the same time, people were jumping into the pool from all sides, and a relaxing swim was practically out of the question for us. As for the lounge chairs, we also felt there weren’t enough umbrellas; many of them were already reserved with just towels early in the morning, without anyone stepping in.
We found the following odd: People played soccer unsupervised several times in the parking lot right next to our mobile home, and the parked cars took quite a beating in the process. On the day of our arrival, however, we were denied access to the pool because check-in wasn’t possible until noon, even though we were already there at 10 a.m. At that point, we didn’t yet know that hardly anything else was checked.
The scenic train to Umag costs 8 euros per adult for a round trip, which we felt was significantly overpriced for such a short distance.
All in all, it was a rather sobering experience for us. We won’t be doing that again.

Dla mnie super przygotowany kemping. Domki są w różnych wariantach i te większe to już prawdziwy komfort. Parcele pod namioty czyste, ładnie wydzielone. Obsługa bardzo pomocna. Na miejscu dobrze wyposażony sklep (ceny normalne, nie zawyżone). Dwie restauracje, animacje, zatoczką świetna do zabaw wodnych. Nic tyłko tu wracać. Polecam

There is a significant lack of hygiene in the restrooms and showers. The food at the restaurant is delicious; we ate there a couple of times and were pleasantly surprised. The pool water is murky and quite warm. The staff, in general, is friendly and helpful. The trees on the campsites (eucalyptus and palm trees) are inadequate; they don’t provide shade, the eucalyptus trees secrete resin that sticks to the vehicle and is hard to remove, and because of the distances between the trees on the site, it’s difficult to set up a hammock.
