When we picked up the key at the front desk, we didn’t get the cottage that, according to the photo, was supposed to be closer to the sea. Also, the campsites are very close together, and it’s a huge, crowded campground.... We asked for the other standard cottage. The photos don’t match reality. This cottage was in a quieter location, though. The cottage was dirty, with stains everywhere; it was old, with dog hair on the walls, and the toilet and couch were covered in stains. There was a musty smell, and the floor was just brown. The shower also had only a small water heater, so the water turned cold quickly, and there was no oven. The cottage got damp quickly. I cleaned it myself but asked the front desk if they could clean it again. They said they’d do it the next day, but no one came. I had to go back to the front desk again. I think the cleaner was inside for about 10 minutes because the dog hair was still on the toilet. They just tossed some bleach in there. There were also old pots for cooking. What was nice, though, was that you could order extra towels. Otherwise, it’s a nice pool, but as if you weren’t already paying enough for the cabin, lounge chairs cost 10 euros per person. If you want a beach umbrella too, that’s 20 euros per person.....
The sea near the campground is beautiful, clear, and nicely landscaped.

Food at the campground was mediocre. The “homemade” hamburger was actually just from the freezer. Plus, a lot of it was sold out.
People were riding e-scooters at high speeds. There was also loud music played by campground guests one night, and for two days straight, starting at 8 a.m., they were pruning right in front of our cabin—why can’t this be done off-season? Not much variety in fresh pastries in the morning either.
Given the many downsides, we won’t be coming back here. At most, we might visit the region again, since Croatia and the sea near Vrsar were very beautiful—we’d look for a different, less crowded campground that’s better organized and cleaner. For dog owners, the dogs definitely have the time of their lives. They’re allowed in designated areas of the sea and can use the dog showers. There are also lots of dogs at the campground.
Fancita Restaurant in Vrsar is highly recommended for dining.

The campground was large enough, the restrooms were clean, though the train can be a bit noisy at night. It’s a good spot for traveling to Strasbourg by bike or public transportation. A day pass is recommended. The reception staff was nice, friendly, and helpful.

Very convenient—there's a bus stop nearby. The only downside is the swim cap for the pool.

First car camping went very smoothly. Top facilities and service team! Plus the wonderful lake area that belongs to the camping site. 100% recommendation!

We stayed there for 9 days. We had a mobile home—we really liked it; it was very clean and well-maintained. The resort in general was very clean and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly everywhere. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay at this campground.

The very loud children’s disco from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., which could be heard clearly throughout the entire campground, was particularly disruptive. We would have liked a bit more peace and quiet, especially in the early evening.

Even during the afternoon rest period, it was anything but quiet. Golf carts were constantly driving across the campground, sometimes just a few minutes apart—it felt like about every 5 minutes. This significantly disrupted what was supposed to be a quiet time.

On top of that, there were an unbelievable number of mosquitoes, making it nearly impossible to relax outdoors.

Overall, we unfortunately weren’t really able to relax at the campground. Anyone who values peace and relaxation should therefore think carefully about whether this campground is the right choice.

A very well-equipped and conveniently located campground. A central starting point for many great hikes.

We had a campsite and were very satisfied. We also love Huttopia’s nature-oriented campsites. If you enjoy being close to nature, you’ll feel right at home here, just like we did. The location is okay. A bit out of the way, but quiet. The staff was nice and friendly, the site was clean, and the restrooms were also clean and had hot water. We were happy to move on to the next Huttopia 😄
