Tortuga, our little corner of paradise in Sardinia for 30 years now, offers restaurant services and entertainment worthy of its star rating, with management led by the highly competent director Cinzia Leone and her staff,the restaurant is led by the great Marcello and his team, and the entertainment is spearheaded by Marcello and Christian with their group of young staff—there’s nothing more to say. We went in a motorhome.
There’s no gray water service, and the fill hose is the same one they use to flush the toilet.
Poorly marked streets.
It’s not a place I’d return to based on the price.
It’s not easy to drive around the campground—there are a lot of hills, and the streets are so narrow you can barely turn.
If only they’d let you know before you arrive… but they don’t tell you anything, and then it’s all surprises.
It’s a shame, but until they fix this, it’s not a campground worth visiting—at least not with a motorhome.

So I arrived today, and I was already looking forward to it because the photos of the bungalows looked pretty good. When we arrived, the first thing we noticed was that there was a new toilet seat, but it hadn’t been secured. So, well, we secured it ourselves. But we also noticed that the kitchen is very old and damaged. And everything is very run-down, and as I mentioned, everything is somehow damaged. One good thing, though, was the service. Water was leaking from our AC unit. After we reported it at the front desk, someone came right away and fixed it. But overall, I can say I wouldn’t come back here—it’s not worth the price either.

A truly beautiful campground. Customer-friendly and welcoming. Valkenburg, Maastricht, and Aachen are nearby.

Great location with spacious pitches for every taste and budget. Dogs are welcome, and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were disappointing. They are dated, often not very clean, and the showers could also be better maintained. I would recommend hand showers. It was an improvement for guests and would make cleaning the shower areas much easier for guests and staff.

The beach was the least impressive we have visited. Sun loungers cost extra, which is fine in principle, but the pricing feels somewhat inconsistent.

Our experience at the restaurant was also disappointing. Although several outdoor tables were free, we were told that only indoor seating was available, without any explanation. We therefore left and ate elsewhere, as the indoor atmosphere did not appeal to us.

Overall, a beautiful campsite with spacious pitches, friendly reception staff, and excellent public transport connections, but there is room for improvement, especially regarding the sanitary facilities and restaurant service.
